Imaginarium Iron Man MKVII 1:2 Scale WOW!!!!

It's payback Andy lol

These are the droids you are looking for

:lol :lol yea, I'm really liking this MKVII Ant :gah: if I was to pick one right now between this and the Sideshow version then purely for the features this one would win hands down!

I'm suspicious about the quality. How can it be 1/2 of Sideshow's price, with more accessories?

Well Sideshows Iron Man LSFs are in connection with Legacy Effects who are the guys who build the replicas for the actual movies so having that connection is already gonna boost the price up somewhat...

I guess my concern is that the quality will be so-so, as in if it just looks like fibreglass then it'll look cheap and if it looks cheap then there's no real saving.

Re: Imaginarium Iron Man MKVII 1:2 Scale WOW!!!!

Apparently iron patriot is a good quality solid statue

Andy maybe they will do a mkv?

Re: Imaginarium Iron Man MKVII 1:2 Scale WOW!!!!

Sure hope so...really like some of their recent stuff such as their IM3 Heartbreaker 1:2 scale :love however, if I was to be hyper critical of their stuff I'm not a massive fan of the huge name plaques that are built on their bases and apparently I've just heard that the Imaginaruim Art 1:2 scale stuff are bigger than the Sideshow ones so scale is really important when lining these guys up net to each other.
yup your collection dreamy , to lust for., :hi5: Hope this line just add that extra humph for the $$$ hope not too out of scale with SS .

Yea, heard good things abt the Iron Patriot and it looks good quality from the pics :) MKV? You know I can't wait for a MKV 1:2 scale :love :love

:yess: it's about time we can tempt Andy into buy something for a change. I like the way he's making out he's only going to get one of the two. He's getting both :lol

Sideshow has name brand recognition and overprices everything. Or you could say prices them to market value.

This is why competition is so vital. When it isn't there you can charge what you want

Personally, I like the pose better on the Sideshow IP. However the Imaginarium Mark VII is freaking amazing. It has a fantastic action pose. I guess it depends on what people like. Some like museum poses, others not so much.

I'll keep my eye on this, but understandably I'm skeptical about the quality.

I would be more concerned if it was a sideshow product. So far this company has given us no reason to doubt the quality of their stuff.

I don't know, love the price but not sold yet on the quality.

The base with the name cheapens it so much, like seriously, you don't need a name, everyone knows what it is, and if they don't they'll find out.

Ultimately I would rather pay more if the quality is there, a 1/2 scale figure attracts attention, so SS/Legacy still has that edge.

I feel like the proportions are a touch off on Iron Patriot? the head seems too big?

Ultimately it needs to compare to this sort of quality, now I'd rather pay 800 bucks but will I get this?

So honestly, atm, SS wins out for me, despite the price, but I'd love to proven wrong.

Yeah, like I said. I'm not the biggest fan of the pose on their Iron Patriot... the Heart Breaker on the other hand looks pretty awesome. It has a great pose and the base is also much better. I would proudly display that in my home.

As for the quality. Their IP looks damn near flawless. Here some in hand pictures from FB:

I've always said that abt the name plaque and cheapening it somewhat :exactly: you can already imagine this Iron Patriot with a Sideshow style base and it would already look x10 better. If anything, make the name plaque removable by connecting it with a magnet maybe? They've done the same with their Heartbreaker 1:2 scale and it's horrible.

On the plus side the Iron Man dynamic poses used by Imaginaruim Art are really well done....notably for their Heartbreaker and upcoming MKVII. I'm pretty sure I'm going to pick this up as a one off (despite already PO'ing Sideshows version) and just continue buying the rest of Sideshows Iron Man LSF installments....however, these guys at Imaginarium Art are really banging out the 1:2 scale statues....with a Mk42 1:2 scale announced not long ago and word of a 1:2 scale Captain America (based on the Winter Soldier movie) this company are certainly breaking through as a serious competitor to Sideshow which is a good thing in my book
