I quite like the accessories in this re-release. Again, that base is a step up from the previous one, and that extra bust is ingenious for displaying the extra heads, similar to what they did with the DV.

This figure has been on my bucket list for a long time so just picked one up on eBay for 750 NIB, not bad compared to other listings. I really wanted to wait for the re issues but waiting till 2023 for the release is ridiculous so ya I paid a bit more and I'll have it in a few days

Nice! Hope you'll be completely happy with it! I think, the QS001 still holds up, even against current figures.

Unless there’s some unannounced improvement made to the sculpts for the rerelease, then picking up the QS001 is worth getting it in hand years faster. Plus the original display base, while not perfect, is still more practical than the new one. The only advantage I could see to the new one is a potentially better paint job on the sculpts, as their process has improved in recent years.
But honestly, I’m glad they rereleased it only because it’s such a top tier figure and hasn’t lost any impressiveness over the years, and new collectors deserve a second shot at this glorious beast.

I have the figure for a very long time and it's an impressive figure. During photoshoot, the figure looks very real. Definitely worth every penny. With the reissue, this a great news for the collectors who don't have the figure.

I mean, just wow.. the stock version is grand, but with your custom head, it takes the figure as close to perfection as can be

I haven’t officially launched this one yet. I’m still trying to find a reliable source of resin eye balls. This one actually uses a modified QS001 eye plate.
If someone has a source for quality eyes I can start churning them out. Or if you have a donor QS001 head I could take a commission to convert them.
