It would be fantastic if that was the sculpt. My inclination here is that, that picture is of the 1/4 prototype, original, finished head and not the 1/6 head were getting. I hope I am wrong and the head we get looks like that, but I am rarely, if ever, wrong.

Really is a shame they did not include the head and torn cowl with the solo Batman. Would have have been a better idea. Doing it the two pack way seems like a cash grab.

That's exactly what turned me off of the figure, it looks like a blatant cash grab
"Oh, you all would REALLY love this would you? $100 more and it's yours!"

As for the head sculpt, it was posted by J.C. and from what I've seen, what he posts is what we get

Just heard from my guy this has been pushed back to early 2016. Which sucks if it's right because all I want is the batman, although on the other hand if it comes out with a better headsculpt because of it-that wouldn't be a bad thing

I'm counting on both sets of this line, so it's a win win for me either way. The problem is that I'm getting the deluxe set from Secret Base and the regular Batman from sideshow so we will see which one gets here faster

This is the first figure that I keep checking back for in hand photos of. I normally avoid early and unboxing photos, as I like to be surprised when I open a figure I've already pre-ordered, but I'm really hoping to see an improved Keaton sculpt on this one. I think this is already going to be my favorite Batman, I'd love if it were my favorite Bruce Wayne as well.

So that's the 1/4 scale head?

All prototype sculpts, for all hot toys figures are originally sculpted in 1/4 scale. Every 1/6 figure you have, its prototype head, the first to be sculpted, is 1/4

I thought you were the person who said we wouldn't be getting a Batman Returns figure until 2017?
