The head Hot Toys guy did mention a new endo coming.

Yeah, Hot Toys has got everyone to buy the Salvation T-600's and T-700's Endos but now its about time to get back to the original and revamp the T-800.

If you owned the original BD Endoskeleton for example, would you sell it in anticipation of a new and improved one or would you keep it in your collection?

I wouldn't sell either original Endo, it's a gamble on them making a new one, though it seems likely, and I'd hate to lose one I'm happy with and be left without one hoping to make some cash before the upgrade. If a better one comes, you can always get it in addition or trying selling what you have still, but whatever it might sell for doesn't seem worth risking the chance of being without one.

I'd keep it for 'toy historical' reasons, just to show the evolution of the HT endos. And because I'm a T1/T2 nut.

As great as the details came out on the original, I'd love to see a new one with a more chrome finish, but especially, bulkier upper torso like the actual Endo had, the original figure is a bit slim looking.

and the arms are too long, or the legs are too short, one or the other, a new one would be awesome, even one from salvation would be cool

I have a clean T-800 endo, but I'd sell him in a second if HT announces a proper chromed one.

I had considered selling my Endo several times when the money got tight for whatever reason, but never did. I'm glad, too. He looks really nice on the shelf.

I sold both combined for $650. I had to man I know what you're saying though ............ it was a big chance. Still I have no doubt we'll see more and pure perfection too.

It'll be a 'boring' pose but one of my T-800s is definitely going to be Arnie just after exiting the biker bar. Thats after seeing those most recent pics based off the film. I think I'll go for the black t-shirt afterall.

I hope so, I'd love an HT Endo that looks close to this.

I care more about the body build than the chrome finish, paint like the original would be fine if the proportions were better. Of the two things that could be fixed about the original, I care more about that one, I might be tempted by a chromed version of the original, but a retooled, better proportioned Endo would be a buy without question.

If or when HT's does re-release a better Endo I will try my hardest getting 4 of them. The more the merrier when it comes to Endo's imo. I never paid much attention to proportions and what not so I suppose i'm in the "Chrome please" category.

Thats a beauty of a piece. You sure those proportions are right though? Could be just the angle but with that bulky torso its like the neck has disappeared - and if you then imagine flesh over that it'd be a freak. Maybe I'm just being a n a l, but I always try to envision the endos with flesh over them, to see if everything is where it should be if these things were real.

I came to notice it after the Endo fight in Salvatin, I started looking at the other films and the upper body has an Arnie shape to it, but the HT figure looks like it could be any person, it doesn't look like the framework for a bodybuilder, that's what I hope for in a retool, a bodybuilding Endo.

They don't have much of a neck depending on angle of the head and all, and the CM Endo, which that's a photo of, has a downward head tilt like this movie shot.
