I'd rather spend that money on other stuff.

Batman is my favorite character in the entire history of world fiction, but I have remarkably little interest in owning anything more than comics. One Hot Toys figure is worth nearly 20 trade paperbacks.

If I'm going to buy toys and statues, I much prefer that they be Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, G.I.Joe or beautiful women.

Good thing I don't read comics then. :)

now if Demon bats looked more like this,I would be more interested.

$129 for me (shipping to Ireland)

Whoa! Is that what you pay for every order?

yeah and shipping out of Canada much like anything you pay for here in the freaking cold is more than in the US :( sorry I have to repeat myself but invade us already !!!!!

Why is it so bloody expensive? I remember once ordering 1 truetype and the shipping was more than the friggin item! :lol

This is the reason I don't like Toys2 and since Sideshow has changed their policies on 1/6th, I'm running out of good places now to order.

Sideshow has deposits part of the cancelation fees as soon as it's placed but with reasonable shipping and tracking.

Toys2 has no deposits but 10% cancelation fees with extortionate shipping fees for airmail that has no tracking.

Onesixthbruce has deposits and quite a bit pricier than in $.

As far as I know BigBadToystore hasn't changed but import fees apply quite a bit.

Forbiddenplanet.com, they don't always carry many Hot Toys orders and if they do it can be a hit or a miss if they'll get the stock. Plus their prices are not competitive. Some of the Hot Toys figures can be £175+ £10 shipping compared to dollars.

Forbiddenplanet.co.uk, you may as well sign up for scam me now with their reputation of credit card fraud.

This set is now SOLD OUT at Toys Square. I hope that relieves idecision in some of you.

Did you place one?

yeah I dunno, I think most of the companies operating in Canada are subsidiaries of US companies and when they need more profit they look up north and toss our salad :(
With lower pay, higher living expense in general and more freakish cold days no wonder ppl keep leaving Canada :( Sorry for the rant but I love Canada :p
I hear in Europe its worse but that don;t make my suffering any better :(

I think the world has things backwards instead of driving people away from things.

shipping cost depends on actual or dimensional weight whichever is higher and of cause the travelling distance. But the biggest BS part is that the same carrier and the same route will have different prices depending on which country you are paying from :(

Same applies to a diecast shop in Toronto. www.tomotorsports.com

However, small packets 1 - 3 month arrives just under a week. Doesn't matter how big the box is. Though I'm not talking Tumbler big.
