1/6 Hot Toys 1/6 Rogue One Orson Krennic

I wonder what accessories we'll get with this figure. I think all he really used was that silver blaster a couple times. That his code cylinders (which are really part of the uniform), and a base. Hopefully that translates to a lower price for this figure.

Maybe an officer cap, and the alternate rain gear cape/poncho he wore in the scene on Eadu?

Ah right I did forget about the rain gear and his hat. Those would be nice to have for some alternate looks/poses.

I wouldn’t be surprised with a 2 pack edition with a Deathtrooper as well.

That’s what I’m hoping for. That opening scene he’s wearing something similar or the exact same outfit maybe.

Pretty much the same outfit but his rank was lower then. His hair may be slightly darker too. Minor differences at most though.

Hopefully a two pack...being as I gave up hope on this and Cassian and parted ways with R1. Don’t need everyone but DT and Krennic almost a must...

I think cassian is a given as well, especially with the tv series. They have to find a way to make coin off of this release, so I believe we will get a 2 pack of krennic and a death trooper. That’s $500 as opposed to $220 for hot toys. Most would buy the 2 pack imo.

Honest question: why is this figure such a big deal for people?

I don't ask that because I want to crap on anyone's figure desires--you want what you want and I'm glad you're getting it after waiting so long. I'm just interested to hear why, because to me he was mostly a forgettable weasel.

For me Krennic was an amazing villain with clear intentions which makes sense. Also a bit of tragic figure backstabbed by Tarkin. And very well played. Charismatic also.

Totally agree. He pulled off building the most powerful weapon ever by craftiness and determination. Another ruthless villain in the SW universe. Tarkin just bested him and took over.

I wouldn’t say Tarkin really bested him, he just pulled rank. Krennic put in all the work and when Tarkin saw it worked he just stole it from him. Pretty dirty move on his part. And then he let his new toy get destroyed within a day or two.

Considering the great job HT did on Tarkin, I'm hoping Krennic will look good. Here's hoping for some great options here like the cap, poncho, pistol, holster, gloved and un-gloved hands, a great environmental stand (something with the Death Star) And the sharpest, crisp tailoring ever on the uniform, please!

Can't wait for some preview shots to appear.

I'm amazed (and pleased) that HT is retuning to R1. My fingers are crossed to breaking that the Tank Driver now sees that light of day and that we may yet get a Cassian figure...

No Cassian is the one reason I never got into collecting R1 figures, but now we’re getting Krennic, I have to hope we’ll see him, especially seeing he’s getting his own tv show. I only have one Disney Star Wars figure, which is the Death Trooper Specialist, and now I can’t wait to add Krennic to the collection. Hoping we see Baze too at some stage, along with Cassian which will inspire me to pick up Chirrut, Jyn and K2. Hot Toys not releasing the male lead was a real head scratcher, and I wonder if it cost them sales of the other figures.
