Force Friday Hot Toys predictions

So...what do you think will be revealed and/or go up for preorder on Force Friday this year?

I'm gonna say we get 2 new figures from Last Jedi(one a trooper of some sort and the other will be a new Rey or a new Kylo Ren) and one previously known figure finally going up for preorder(I'm gonna go with Anakin Skywalker).

Just based on what they announced on the last two Force Friday's, I'm gonna have to guess there'll be about 4 TLJ figures that get announced. My guess is Kylo Ren, Rey (either outfit), a new FO Stormtrooper, and I HOPE Poe Dameron X-wing suit.

Though I think Finn and Captain Phasma would be likely candidates as well. Finn would have reused parts, and Captain Phasma would just have a new spear, spear-holding hands, and hopefully unmasked head.

Flight suit (hopefully) or Brown jacket Poe. Jedi training Rey.

I cannot see Hot Toys making more
FO troopers. They must have a back log of thousands still to shift.

If they do "Brown Jacket Poe" there will be some other Brown stuff hitting the fan !!!

I think Poe is in with a very good shot, particularly given that they have plenty of reference material to draw from with Force Awakens, they already know he's a popular character, and his two main looks (pilot and casual) haven't changed for Last Jedi too much, so any work they may have done for a FA version could likely be transferred over. Plus as the only real major new character that was missed last time around (unless you count the likes of Snoke and Maz), I'd imagine he'd be pretty close to the front of the pack this time out.

Other than that I fully expect another new trooper of some kind (just produced in smaller numbers), maybe a Kylo or Phasma with unmasked head sculpts, and a Rey of some discription. I'll also take a wild punt on an older Leia, perhaps in her brown robes, as seen in the promotional photoshoot.

And I'll probably be wrong on all counts...

Yeah, basically things we've seen in trailers and magazines already. They have a good amount of characters to choose from from those alone.

I also think as well that Poe has a good chance this time around. He's a popular character that easily deserves a figure by now. Plus the X-wing outfit is a visually eye-catching and interesting outfit. Let's see him Hot Toys, come on!

Totally and I'm getting this if it does happen. Also maybe one of the new Royal Guards that's been seen in other line of figures. They need to do Poe for the resistance side of things. That'll make a lot of people happy.

What were last year's reveals for Force Friday? I honestly can't even remember. Was one maybe one of the Death Troopers?

Edit: I found the posts. Looks like the reveals were the Jedha Patrol Trooper, Death Trooper (Specialist), Shoretrooper, RO Darth Vader, TFA Luke, and a couple Vader Cosbabies.

My guess is nothing too major gets revealed. A couple Troopers and maybe one of the lead heroes or Kylo again.

This one has to be the preview release for sure.

Other than that, HT will crank out helmeted characters first. Praetorian/Snoke guards and FO troops variants will be first in line. Then, my money is on a face reveal Ren. Heroes will be further down the line.

Real question is, will they go for a Phasma again? Unless we see her face in TLJ, i have serious doubts.

I'm betting on Luke, Rey, Kylo Ren and a First Order Stormtrooper. HT can give us those figures relatively easily reusing a lot from previous releases but still make them specific to the new film without spoiling anything new from the film.

I still think we're going to get some Original trilogy and/or prequel announcements to go with these Last Jedi ones for Force Friday. I think we'll see a Last Jedi Luke but not announced this close Force Awakens version. I also think it's too soon to see more original Luke and Leia announcements. Poe Dameron could be announced and I think he's a shoo in to get a figure this time....but not during the first reveals. We must also face the possibilities of there being a new Finn and Phasma. Neither did great last time BUT they are major characters. Finn for sure is getting another figure. Phasma is a maybe and only if she has an unmasked sculpt honestly. Other possibilities like Emperor Palpatine or the Royal Guard don't seem ready yet.

Many different ways this can go.

Endor Luke and Leia deluxe 2 pack with an extra accessory (probably a gun), or you can get them separately, Rey from TLJ and maybe another from that movie but I'm not sure. I think Tarkin and Emporer are a ways off but hope I'm wrong about Tarkin.
