Cult indie band Ok Go are to team up with the Muppets in their next video.

The group, who made headlines with their synchronized treadmill promo for Here We Go Again, are set to wow fans after signing up the lovable puppets for their next video.

Frontman Damian Kulash tells Billboard.com the new track, which he and his bandmates have recorded for the forthcoming Muppets: The Green Album, is a “twisted, kind of dark” interpretation of the Muppet Show Theme.

Kulash says, “We played President Obama’s birthday party this week, and while I love the president, I gotta say, I’m even more excited about making a video with the Muppets.”

Agreed. Because those are the films I will be picking up

I'm sure they are staggering releases to try and maximize demand levels.

I'm thinking the Muppet Movie and Great Muppet Caper around when the movie drops and then The Muppet Show s4 when the movie releases to home video.

The new movie is really great. I had an opportunity to see it recently. And even though I'm not a muppet hardcore fan I thought it was excellent.

Man!! I so wanted to go to D23 to see the Muppets...
But couldn't make it!!
Rowlf and Kermit preforming together is pure gold!!
