Its kind of ironic we are getting half of heartbreaker before he comes out. Im surprised its not blue steel, that's literally just a paint change.

Maybe the factory finished the Heartbreaker legs first :rotfl

Final product should look pretty close to the photoshop, except the dark parts being darker. Wonder what accessories they might throw in?

yeah I really want Heartbreaker but since he is so far away(supposed to get him in February) half of him will do :rotfl

I'll post this here too, a primer on the helmet styles of the Iron Legion. This new figure looks like the Centurion helmet, which means it could be Mark 9, Python, Blue Steel, or Piston.

Great post, Rocbolt!

I think HT's priority would be the ones that are easier to make, ie, the armors that would require more mix-and-match of previous releases than those that require all-new sculpts.

Look at it this way, Midas was announced in July, when did it go up for PO on SSC? December for like a day or two and it was gone :lol

Here is what it would take to built the figures that use that helmet:

Mark 9 - Mark 7 torso and arms, Heartbreaker hips and legs painted in red and gold

Python (20) - Same as Mark 9- Mark 7 torso and arms, Heartbreaker hips and legs painted in black and gold

Since there is no sight of a Thumper armor yet, it should be either a straight repaint with Blue Steel, or if whatever is delaying Heartbreaker so much is not the legs, it would be Python/Mark 9.

I think there is a chance they will release mark 3 die cast for this year exclusive

Didn't realize it was the Mk9/20 shared the same helmet as the Mk33, good call-out. Seems like Blue Steel is the easiest conversion, just a re-paint and many suspected HT pushed up the Mk33 release so they can do a Blue Steel exclusive. Hard to say if the Heartbreaker legs rolled off the factory line before the rest of the figure, but maybe HT is producing it that way.

EDIT: Just realized the teaser pic is a gold faceplate, so yep it's Python.
