Only real way I see gettin it at a decent price
I may be selling my Supes as I've never been as enamored with the black suit look, but I'll have to see what it's like in hand first.

I'm not sure what made me go look at my orders on my sideshow account just now but I'm glad I did because my order for this 2 pack set was already processing! Totally unexpected and I never received a heads up email from Sideshow about it

Good to know. I ordered 1 st day on this too but no doubt il be one of the last to get it
You never know with Sideshow. Hopefully you'll get a notification from them soon about your order processing. This was just sooner than I expected and not ready to shell out $550 right now. It wouldve been a different story if I received that heads up email first but oh well.

Hey thanks to both of you who replied with the link - I went and bought that immediately lol even in video it seems like a massive improvement over the stock HT one.
The sculpt is better, but the paintwork is a bit lacking and basic compared to the HT head. Although I've seen some repaints that show just how good the sculpt can look.

You are welcome!It's a very good sculpt, keep in mind in the video I'm using flash,so details are washed out, (it was dark lol) in person it is amazing! Of course Hot Toys paint technology is better, but custom sculpt is perfect in person imo. Likeness is definitely better just in general. I always thought Hot Toys Man of Steel sculpt was way better than BvS, if they used MOS sculpt with updated paint I wouldn't be as mad. Reusing BvS sculpt third time is too much.

The clamp is the basic plastic one that came with MoS Superman. I took him off the clamp. He was ever so slightly stuck to it. No surface marks at all on the suit. There is what appears to be a sight indent but I honestly can't tell if it's from the clamp or it's just where his lats taper in.

I'll never know why they didn't simply add a small hole in his back for a peg on the dynamic stand to to insert into.
With the cape you would not see it. (sure people would complain) but I'd prefer a small plugged hole, over potentially wrecking the sides of the figure and having unsightly calipers around his waist (in full view from the front).
I can't believe they have come up with something better by now. Same with cowls that let the heads turn. Proper wired capes etc. Hopefully, more companies doing higher quality 1/6 figures could make them up their game.

OK cool. Have you tried this Alatar ? Any difference at the front without the zip done up ?
