I can’t put a Batman film with no batarangs, no glider cape, and a Batman who basically only enters buildings with permission and through doors above anything in TDK trilogy.

It's always interesting what different people see as the most important pieces. To me, The Batman is the "truer" Batman story by virtue of it's nature as the detective story and it's characterization of Batman.
Which film is better in the end, though, between The Batman and The Dark Knight, feels like an impossible question, at least for me. They're both an embarrassment of riches for me as a Batman fan.

I didn’t find the detective aspects all that compelling in The Batman. I enjoyed the movie but I think to say Batman is much of a detective in it is a stretch. He only finds the clues intentionally left for him and the ultimate revelation wouldn’t have happened without the input of an offhand comment from a random cop.
The character does more detective work, gathering evidence, following leads, interrogation, arresting criminals, in Batman Begins than in The Batman.

Sure, that's fair, but I'm not really comparing their methods, moreso the films holistically. Batman Begins is primarily an adventure film. The Batman is primarily a crime thriller. Although Batman solves a mystery in both films, the mystery in Batman Begins is essentially constrained to the second act, whereas the mystery (or different layers of it) in The Batman is functionally the whole film.
I'm not really rating the things against each other, though. I love Nolan's films because they really capture the spirit of the Denny O'Neil era of Batman. Conversely, I think The Batman captures the spirit of Year One and The Long Halloween.

I'm just happy The Batman gives us another Batman that's worth comparing to the comics rather than the fever dream of someone who had The Dark Knight Returns described to him by a buddy who thought Batman murdered tons of people in it.
Agreed. Batman through the eyes of a Randian is a big "No" from me, for sure.
I'm reading The Fountainhead right now. I think it's amazing.

The Dark Knight Rises sucks. Not only does it fail as a Batman movie for me, it fails as a movie. I hate it, it’s so goofy and such a let down after The Dark Knight. Batman himself is terrible in it.
I’m so petty about it that any time I get a Hot Toys Batman, I immediately sell off any item related to TDKR like the light up EMP blaster, City Hall steps stand and boxes.
I always laugh when I see collections that have an official 1:6 Robin John Blake in them. So goofy.
Dark Knight, The Batman and Batman are the cream of the crop.

What you really need to see before anyone even receives a figure is mods to fix it hahah, but this looks great. The headsculpt I don't think has been modified and it looks great here. Biggest improvements from the mod seem to be the Traps and the general increase to his thickness. Hopefully there's an easier way to get that increase to the traps outside of a body swap or cutting the costume open.

I personally can't see any difference. Or are they all modded pics ??
One has the cape on which makes it totally different to look at ??
The right one has traps, wider torso and arms, smaller shoulder armors, and belt moved up. I'm not sure if the thicker torso works but the traps and smaller shoulder armors look good.
