Does anyone know where I can find the baton and hands? I am fairly new to this hobby.

Monkey Depot currently has the Baton with Lightning effect for $25.00:

BTW, the gripping hands are the same as the right gripping hand from the Flametrooper, just that the Flametrooper only comes with the right gripping hand and not the left.
So, that's a total of $41 for everything that makes the Riot Control Trooper unique, all you have to do is buy a regular FO Stormtrooper and you're set.
They currently only have 4 batons with lightning effect, 5 riot shields and only one pair of gripping hands at the moment. So don't wait on those hands.

Monkey Depot is very reliable, I've bought a ton of things from them over the years and they also have the best prices on parted out Hot Toys items anywhere.

Toy Anxiety has just the right gripping hand from the Flametrooper at the moment, it's $2.00 there:

Toy Anxiety is also very reliable and their prices are good, not as low as Monkey Depot but they part out Hot Toys items more regularly.

Digging up this thread because I'm thinking about getting this set. Just got the Rey BB-8 set and want to get a few more TFA figures. For the prices I have seen you can't beat it. I did see where the FO Trooper is essentially the regular Trooper without the pistol. Is there anything else different or other would be missing by getting this set over buying separately?

If I did get this set of would want the pistol for the side magnet. Not having much luck finding out. Looked on Toy Anxiety and Monkey Depot. Nada. Any other spots to check out?

You've got the gist of it. I think that the FO Stormtrooper in this set has slightly better articulation in the arms as well.

This is a great set, though Finn is on a super hero body. They made him too tall and too buff. He should've been on a body like ANH Luke.

Maybe they want to get rid off them for new items, so they sell lower than their cost. Consider this, if it's a figure they think they won't be able to sell, why keep it in their stock. As long as it stays in their stock it will be a loss for them. By selling cheaper they may be diminishing their loss.

It's Amazon, there's literally nothing to worry about. If it does somehow turn out to be a bootleg, click return, click item not as described, box it up and send it back at no cost. It surprises me that people are still leery of buying anything from Amazon as long as it's fulfilled by them.

Because if it is shipped and sold by Amazon it falls under their return policy. If it is sold by a reseller and fulfilled by Amazon it will fall under the reseller's return policy. Which in some cases are not as easy as you would think or they make it sound.

I don't think anyone's ever made a full bootleg of a First Order Stormtrooper from Hot Toys. They just want to move the figures out of their warehouse.

I'm not really worried about full bootlegs. I have read about instances of Hot Toys figures being sold as new. But people get them and they have been opened and HT pieces or headsculpts being replaced with bootleg parts.

Not to butt heads but that's not 100% right - as long as Amazon fulfills the item (meaning Amazon handles all the logistics inclusion C/S, storage, and shipping - just as anything Amazon proper would sell), it is covered under Amazon's easy return policies just as if it were Amazon proper. Which, in this case, the FO Trooper is.

The only time that is not the case is if the item is shipped and sold by another vendor. The easy way to view it is if it is prime eligible, you are getting the full Amazon suite of buyer protection. I almost always (we are talking years of Amazon use here) buy from fulfilled sellers over Amazon when I have the chance and have returned plenty of things all the same - it all falls under Amazon's return policy due to the fulfillment.

Also, This is further expanded on by seller fulfilled prime which Amazon dictates must fall under the same C/S return policies as Amazon proper now.

If they'd released the Poe pilot at the same time as Finn it would have helped sell a lot more Finn figures to customizers wanting to make the early Poe.

I dont own any storm troopers in my collection. May as well get this set. That 1 scene of FN2199 was pretty cool.
