89 Batmobile way ahead of the rest for me. I liked the BvS version but less so the JL look.

the 89 was the best batmobile for sure

Its "pretty" to look at sure... but the Tumbler is a masterpiece!!
A high speed tank crushing obstacles, barralling through walls, and performing jumps. Once they showcased its capabilities on screen there was no going back for me.
No other version made sense.
Batman would choose the Tumbler. So would I.

It’s a comic book movie. Nothing makes sense.

**** that garbage disposal truck.

The 89 Batmobile is far more true to the comics. That alone makes it better, he is a comic book character afterall.

I did love the Tumbler once. However it lost much of its appeal once every thug in TDKR had one. It ceased to be a Batmobile at that point.

The Burton Batmobile remains the most memorable and untarnished version. I do agree though that it wouldn't have made sense in Nolan's Batverse. It very much belongs to Burton's world.

Not really. The first appearance it just looks like a normal car. I would say Afflecks Batmobile is close to what it's more commonly portrayed as in comics but all the versions represent something out of the books in one way or another.

Watched Batman Begins again. Have Batman PF. Pre-order? Love Bale as Batman. Not of fan of his PF. Too small compared to DCPF.

well true the tumbler is also nice, but the 89 got a real batman look

I will say that the Tumbler is probably the only one so far that could cross-over into another movie universe. It would work just as well in the current DCEU.

The 89 is my favourite overall but it wouldn't work in Nolan's world or in the DCEU.

(By the way why is it called DCEU and not DCCU? Remind me what the E is?)

I believe the E is short for extended but I could be wrong.

Detective Comics Expanded Universe, I believe.
