One more- "fishes", as in more than one fish.

I blame Cream's song "Tales of Brave Ulysses".

Or "conversate" which isn't even a word. The correct word is converse.

I blame the Biggie Small's song "Big Poppa".

Lol. The appalling spelling on here on a daily basis has me cringing.

I know what you mean. I agree with all the examples you gave also. Another common one I see is people saying "loose" when they mean to say lose. :lol

However, as long as I'm able to understand what someone is attempting to say based the context of what they're saying, I don't correct them. Seems like a petty thing to do, especially on a web forum designed to merely converse about collectible figures. Seems pedantic and to be candid, makes one come across as a bit of a pretentious ****. :lol

The only thing I do is not "dumb it down" for people, unless of course I'm speaking to children. If I'm speaking to another adult and they don't understand a particular word I've used, I consider that to be more of their problem than it is mine. Many people act as if it's you insulting their intelligence, but it's really not. If they feel insulted by it, my perspective is that perhaps they should do something about it so that way they won't be so "insulted" next time.

Actually I'd blame the song Jeremiah was a Bullfrog by Three Dog Night where they claim, "Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea Joy to you and me"

Then there's also Mayonnaise which was popularized by Jeff Foxworthy when he said "Mayonnaise a lot of people here tonight!"

Or Initiate when the same same gent spoke this gem, "My wife ate three hot dogs initiate a bag of chips!"

There are two types of people in this world:

Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data...

Not sure why people seem to find it unfathomable that people can like and enjoy two things without making it out to be some sort of competition and that you have to choose a side.

This totally baffles me as well. Go to any Marvel or DC movie/tv related news article and there's nothing but hate on both ends. I think it's just a matter of the internet. Possibly the anonymity allows people who otherwise could care less to act immature and start fights just for the sake of it. This is also the reason why I don't like posting on comic book related forums anymore.

I've been around long enough to know that there was a time when all we had in the realm of comic book entertainment was JUST Batman and Superman. So where we are now is pretty much golden age in terms of content out there to pick and choose from. With that in mind there's bound to be others who don't agree with you. But in the end we're all fans of the genre so to take it as far as to incite arguments and make it seem like you should choose a side is ridiculous.

If I may contribute with two pet peeves of mine:

"Would of" instead of "would have" and mixing up "it's" with "its".

As for Wonder Woman, yeah, when the hell are we going to see new pics...

Have HT spoken about the arm articulation? Without me having to read the whole thread, the proto looks like it has seamless shoulders and the arms are never posed in the proto pics. Just wondering if it has been discussed?
or are they just photoshopped?

HT have yet to mention the articulation on the figure except for the specs provided. Even the prototypes at shows show it in just 1 pose so it is anyone's guess for now.

Thanks. I'd likely just have her in a museum pose anyway, but i expect we will find out before too long.

Just noticed in the Episode VII Luke Skywalker figure thread in the Star Wars section that he got delayed from March - April to now July - August. What's this have to do with the WW figure? Apparently, people are stating that the delay email from SSC specifically stated that HT is stating that "actor likeness" is the issue and reason why the figure is getting delayed, which based on that, sounds like to many that they are redesigning the sculpt.

Based on hearing that news, wonder if that is the case for this figure as well.

Oh man. I hope so!

If they can make a seamless Black Panther HT ( Check BP thread) higlhly flexible, they can do the same for WW articulation

While I don't have a problem with the sculpt. However I wouldn't mind seeing a more "aggressive" expression if Hot Toys is redesigning it.
