But, Civil War is nowhere near as good as Batman, Spider-Man 2, and Superman The Movie. Each of those movies were groundbreaking for their time, Civil War will be forgotten by the time Infinity War comes out.
Have to agree. CW was an ok "Avengers" sequel but nothing more.

While Civil War was good - it didn't captivate me like a lot of people seemed to be. I wish that they would have squeezed in one more Cap movie in the vein of TWS, following the more espionage and military flick style. It's the best of the three and a shame that they didn't carry that longer. The intro on the Lemurian Star is still one of my favorite sequences in a Marvel movie.

But then again I liked Thor TDW so my opinions probably aren't valid according to a lot of people.

Civil war was good but not amazing. I loved the spidey scenes tho. It was great to see him interacting in a world he belongs in.

The decline is obvious at this point and its a shame because so many great characters are being introduced right now.

If only there was a way to have Jeph Loeb absorb the film division & replace Kevin Feige. Loeb is cranking out fantastic content for their Netflix division while Feige keeps making safe popcorn movies.

So salty :lol

Getting the feeling that snikt is a fox executive. Trying to pull us over...... to the dark side.

But that lengthy airport scene easily captures the top spot of superhero team up group action.

Even kara would admit that no X-Men movie has anything that comes close to that. :lol

Not even other MCU movies including the AOU v Ultron bots scene can touch that airport scene.

Certainly not any other cbm. Spiderman v Doc Ock while great is just that, a 1 on 1 battle.

I have no problem with people thinking CW was just an ok movie but the superhero action and choreography on display in that entire move was godamn legenday lol.

pturtle if you bring up that damn X2 Wolverine hallway scene again I swear i'm going to post a picture of that little turtle dressed like Caitlin Jenner :lol

I remember watching the Spidey CW trailer and feeling pure joy for a long time. I went back and rewatched the animated series, and I loved every scene he was in in the film. It was just seeing him interact with Cap and Tony...it was incredible after all these years of the MCU.

I can only imagine the reaction Wolverine's claws at the end of an MCU trailer would get. But that will never happen with Hugh at least.

The way CW is built up here..geeeezz you'd think it was decent as far as story and acting- NOT Some of the dialogue and delivery was painful and those meetings around the table were dramatic mockery to me- yes the fight scenes as usual with the Russos were outstanding but the reasoning for the whole airport fight missed the mark by a mile...

I wonder would he stay on if that did become possible. I seem to remember him saying he'd gladly join up with the MCU.

FOX has had their share of stinkers too. Tom Rothman's reign pretty much affected all of the FOX tentpoles (2005 - 2010). His departure paved the way for gems like First Class and Rise of The Planet of The Apes.

The MCU has its own version of Rothman right now. The problem is that the seamless continuity of the films and grand design of an interconnected cinematic universe has alot of the fans settling for mediocre films just to see characters interact with each other onscreen.

Why do I want Jackman Wolverine to share a movie with Evans Cap if the movie is safe and uninspired?

Idk I just feel like fox is holding the xmen back . We never see them at there full potential, just wolverine and magneto and a few others. I just feel they could work more as a team with marvel. Instead of always xmen vs xmen every movie.

With all the stuff about a country in fear and racism going on today an xmen movie dealing with these issues would be much welcomed.

There's so much of the X-Men universe that the movies never touched on that I can't get excited for Fox anymore. They should've stopped at DoFP and then rebooted the entire series with the original team from the comics. Plus now that Disney/Marvel is screwing around with mutants and making them Inhumans I doubt we'd ever see the classic stories i enjoyed reading even if Marvel Studios got the movie rights.

I wouldn't call it "screwing around with mutants and making them Inhumans" but more so as just pushing the Inhumans property hard since they don't have the rights for Mutants in the MCU. Plus, I totally think the Inhumans are a whole different entity than mutants in general.

I don't get that feeling at all. I thought everybody was solid. Hell, RBJ alone killed it (he was the soul of the film from an acting standpoint). Thought Evans, Bucky, Don Cheadle and T;Challa all brought good actin chops to the table.

RDJ was laughable at times.

When he called Cap an idiot I literally cringed at the hilarious line delivery and horrid CGI body they gave him.
