Indiana Jones. No way I was going to buy that mess. Absolute arse-pie.

Very disappointing though. Had they nailed the sculpt, I would have absolutely LOVED one of these in my Indy collection.

I second this post. Summed up my thoughts exactly. Hoping at some point we get an Indy with a great sculpt as I would love to have one in my collection!!

You know a figure is a disappointment when you pass on one of you favorite movie licenses all because of a sub par head sculpt (especially when the HS is usuly the selling point of the figure lol)

from the one that i own,man i hope not i won't get bashed for this :lol the dx04 bruce lee, sold that figure just 3days of owning it, i dunno, i feel the hs does not look like bruce lee, the one with the suit and casual wear does look 100% like him. i blame myself for that impulse buy

In my actual collection, the one that disappointed me most was Hawkeye (love the presentation and accessories but not the head sculpt or exposed joints). Disappointment is also probably a little extreme as well, more like not 100% happy with.

However, One of the benefits of getting into this hobby late is u don't really get disappointed to often if u just buy the figures that u like and that receive good feedback on this forum from fellow freaks.

The whole Avengers line, except Loki. Avengers is one of my fav Superhero movies, & the idea of having all the movie Avengers in figure form sounds cool, but I had to pass on all of them (except Captain America), because I'm not a fan of the head sculpts. The likeness is okay, but not as much as I'd like. I guess you could look at them as Thor, Fury ..... etc, rather than Hemsworth, Jackson ..... etc, but that's making excuses.

The reason I purchased Captain America, might have more to do with me trying to collect all the Evans Captain America figures (would make a cool costume progression display), than with me liking the sculpts.

Edit: I'm actually looking to maybe get the Hulk again, since the maquette didn't exactly (although still nice) turn out the way I wanted.

I'm not diappointed with any of the figures I buy as, like others have said, I make sure I 100% want a figure before I buy it.

However, there are some QC issues that have annoyed me. DX10 T800's minigun handle broke off as I was trying to get it out of his hand, I snapped a wrist peg on Noland just trying to get it into the hand, and the spear on my City Hunter Pred (the 2013 version) has really weak glue on one side that means it comes apart.

Aside from that, no disappointments for me.

:exactly: I owned Fury, Hawkeye, and Cap then sold them all for that reason. I still have Hulk on pre-order, he'll likely be the extent of my Avengers collection.

Outside of Marvel (superheroes) I was disappointed in Indy, Prince of Persia head sculpts

I've only had a few HT figs:
Mark IV, Thor Movie Thor, CR Superman, Mark I, Hawkeye, Tumbler,
DX12 Batman, Avengers Captain America, DX07 Luke

Most disappointing is DX12.
It's not really disappointing by itself,
but if I had to choose one, it would be it. :D

Didn't meet expectations 100%.

Dissapointed in the matte grey rather than silver shiny of the Iron Man MK V, Was dissapointed that Jake Sully never came with a Roaring HS and that the disc weapon of the predators don't stay in the damn hosterl

When u say all avengers figures does that include Avengers IM mark vi and avengers Thor?? While Thor isn't perfect I think he turned out much better then the promo pictures and to me was a pleasant surprise. I also think the mark vi is a great figure.

I completely understand peoples disappointment with fury, Hawkeye and widow though I passed on fury and widow because of this as well. Hawkeye i did buy and was disappointed with the sculpt but u can hide it with the glasses lol. Avengers cap I bought as well and I am actually content/happy with him. The unmasked hs could be better and shield issues suck but still looks nice next to the others and imo is way better then the first avenger version which I did not own. I guess it may make a different on my impression since its the first cap I have owned.

You can't help what your brain sees, but personally I prefer the DX04 sculpts over the MIS sculpt. I didn't think this until I swapped the awful hair sculpt over to Enterbay - the HT hair changes the shape of his face and head and really hurts the likeness imo.

I thought the MKII AU metal wasn't as shiny as it should've been, and the rivet detail was a let-down. I cancelled that one.

Jake Sully... no war-face sculpt was a definite fail. The one they gave us was a truly poor rendition of that character. Had the chance to pick this up for $175 shipped, but meh. I'd pay maybe fifty bucks for it.

HT fails a lot with their penchant for blank expressions. I wonder why they do this... it can't be all up to the acting talent?

Could have been such a cool display :thud:

Yes, I'm disappointed with Thor & the RDJ sculpts, but not the IM armours. I think HT has always done a pretty nice job with the armours.

Although I'm disappointed with the way the head sculpts turned out (not Loki), I still think the actual Avengers figures overall are pretty cool, but the likeness is not at a level I am personally satisfied with. I'm not even overly satisfied with the Hulk sculpt, but other factors are making me want that figure again.

Maybe a couple of years ago I might have been pretty impressed. Not so much now that I've been collecting for a little bit.

This "HT figures disappointed" thread is a disappointment coz it's in Marvel section. It should be in DC section.

The Clean Shields of Captain America.. I hate it when those paints chip. It's a high price collectible and it comes with issues like that..
