Ezra was wearing contacts? Did you mean Thrawn? My main problem with this show is how unnatural the contact lenses look. Ahsoka's were a bit weird in Mando but they fixed them.
Hera's look awful and so do Ezra's.

Ezra. He’s wearing piercing blue contacts. The actor has brown eyes.Ezra was wearing contacts? Did you mean Thrawn?
Thrawn looks off to me. I don’t mean differently than I imagined, since I have no emotional or nostalgic attachment to the character, just that it’s giving the same cosplay vibes as Hera. Star Wars does not traditionally do the “human in facepaint” style of alien very often, and I think they need to try harder to replicate skin tone variations so it looks more like someone’s flesh and not just a layer of evenly applied coloring.
Also he’s got that Cardassian / Nick Cave hair. Looks fake. I expected some gray. But maybe he’s the type who would keep it dyed?
It must be nice knowing that your 3.75 inch has left a lasting impression on your wife.I was watching the latest ep on my phone when my wife who was sat next to me asked "is that the skunk man?" Pointing at Thrawn. At first I was like "wha?" Then she clarified "the man wear a skunk on his shoulders"
I guess she remembered my Kenner/Hasbro 3.75 inch Thrawn figure has that creature ( I forget what they are called also) on his shoulders.

I have to admit that their being zombies didn't completely register for me but it explains the cultish "Thrawn!" chanting and the odd appearances of many of them. I initially thought they'd come to worship Thrawn (sort of like Khan's people did him in Star Trek) for keeping them alive all this time with his superior intellect, and their ragtag appearance was a result of the harsh conditions they’d faced since their exile.
So,Spoiler:you think they’re all zombies now? I guess provisions for an entire star destroyer crew would run out at some point (if they didn’t already die in space as you surmise) but I’d think some of them would have survived without the help of witchcraft. IDK, the threat to the galaxy seems somewhat less if Thrawn returns without any of his crew still being alive.
Spoiler:Yeah, I think so. They’ve gone with that Japanese style repair they used on Kylo Ren’s helmet in RoS. That makes me believe anyone in those outfits didn’t survive what caused their armor to break. Captain Enoch might have taken a head shot to the face with his gold mask repair. The only other possibility I can think of is the armor is now being worn by the natives of the planet. The ones wearing the read samurai like armor Sabine fought. That may also explain the repair work style. Space samurai or space zombies. They are for sure at least loading up corpses from the catacombs to revive later - possibly what Thrawn was referring to when he said he needed use of their dark magik again.
Spoiler:is still very much a "child "searching for her own path and it might not necessarily follow Baylan's plans . I don't mean a "child" in a negative way, she's just very inquisitive and seems very interested in the Jedi order. I have a feeling that Thrawn is going to strand them on that planet, and she'll eventually join forces with Ashoka and Ezra.
I think Baylan is under the impression that he’s able to use Thrawn for his own means, but I think Baylan is being manipulated by something far worse consider he says he can feel something calling to him.I got the impression from yesterday's episode that ShinSpoiler:is still very much a "child "searching for her own path and it might necessarily follow Baylan's plans . Shin seems like she’s very much not a believer in whatever cause Baylan is fighting for.
I think there’s a reason as to why most of the Nightsisters left for the main Galaxy.
Somehow, Palpa.....I think Baylan is under the impression that he’s able to use Thrawn for his own means, but I think Baylan is being manipulated by something far worse consider he says he can feel something calling to him.

Maybe it'sNo idea what is calling to our mercenaries, but I'm guessing it won't be good. Perhaps something gets unleashed that team Ahsoka and team Thrawn need to ally over to deal with in the final 2 episodes.
Spoiler:Jorrus C'Boath from the Heir to the Empire books? If it's Palpatine then I'm out! lol
