As long as BBTS gets their stock, I'm fine with it. Nanjin could stand to tone down the carnival barker approach to selling these figures, but I've been happy with the eight I've bought and I plan to get many more.

For those of you keeping score at home, we just entered into the second week of Seven of Nine being available for Immediate Purchase on the EXO-6 site…

You get a Seven, YOU get a Seven, YOU get a Seven….EVERYBODY GETS A SEVEN!!!

Since Nanjin reported early an often that EXO would actually LOSE money on every Seven they sell, the company has apparently decided to commit suicide!

That must be why no one has heard from Nanjin lately :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

EVERYBODY GET'S A SEVEN!

GREAT news for Trek fans who want to add this figure to their collection! Terrible news for EBay scalpers who tried to buy out this figure so that they could resell it at an inflated price…so GREAT NEWS all around!

The shine seems to be off the apple when it comes to Nanjin's relationship with the customer base and the anticipation, while still present, certainly feels different on this board now.

Nanjin will always be worthy of appreciation in my eyes because I have a shelf filled with 1/6 scale figures of characters that range from my all-time favorite Star Trek character - Sisko, to Archer, and others. If it had not been for Nanjin those 16 figures would not be on that shelf. Does anyone here really think that Hot Toys was ever going to start making Star Trek action figures? …I actually couldn’t care less about his communication style, but If for some reason it bothered me, I would just stay off his Facebook page and enjoy my action figures…what’s not to appreciate?

Were there quantity limits on Seven? Maybe some people bought too many and orders were cancelled by Exo-6. That happened with the TMP figures.

As much as I am looking forward to the next round of other pre-orders, I am DYING for an update on TMP “Disco” Bones.

I don't know if a Captain Seven is going to look too good with the long blonde hair. Have they done a figure with long hair yet?

Imo you need a Voyager Seven and Captain Seven on the shelf, they have very different looks and I like her journey.

Nothing to “not” appreciate with the figures themselves, merely commenting upon the noticeable shift in tone.

Yeah. At first it seemed like EXO-6 was a united effort between the company/Nanjin and the fanbase.

He started to drive a wedge into that relationship and while I don’t think most of us are to the point of dropping support it does feel a bit tainted now.

Sculpted seems like the only way to go with that very styled, wavy hair she had. If it means giving up a bit of head articulation, then so be it. Most of us are only going with museum poses for these figures anyway.

Nothing save a terrible final sculpt could keep me away from TWOK figures. It's still an amazing time, it just feels slightly different, but the end products are what matters of course.

I hope that we don't get rooted hair for Worf or any other Klingon. Unless it is Tibetan Lambs wool or another fine material, I don't want the cheap and ugly "Barbie" type hair messing up these figures.

Yeah I'd trade articulation for molded hair every time. Bump the figure once and it's stop what you're doing to play hairdresser time :p
