Greef Karga isn't going to betray Mando lol.
I agree it's not happening but then he's done it before so I was saying there's a better chance of his doing it than The Armorer. I don't think there's an actual traitor at all. What exactly is there to betray? They haven't exactly kept their desire to reclaim Mandalore a secret while they were on Nevarro, so the intel wouldn't be that difficult to obtain. And given that Moff Gideon seemed to have more than a passing interest in the pirates' attack there I think it's safe to say he probably had an asset or two on the ground. He probably has people in Lizzo Land too, although I don't think resettling Mandalore was mentioned while Din & Bo were playing detective there.

So Din and co saved his entire city and he gave them land to live on. But then tips Gideon that they’re all headed back to Mandalore. What?:rotfl

Welp, that was another let down to me. Its and improvement from the last one (how could it not?). But it all feels wrong….

It FEELs like Lucas writing, directing and action….

And thats not good.

The acting is really poor, Gideon literally feels like a different character from the previous season. I agree, Mandos lines seem totally phoned in….that could be the fact that he's not actually in the suit….it may be a jedi mind trick, but it feels like a voiceover now….its wierd.

I liked Grogu, but not hes just silly. I admit the button scenes were pretty funny, but the whole mech idea is just dumb. Better than frog flipping yoda's I guess, but its obvioisly more of a cost saving method than a real good development for Grogu. Make the kid walk realistically ….you got millions to spend….

Another huge gripe for all the new shows…..why is everyone speaking english? Are people so vapid they can no longer handle subtitles ?

I liked the big sacrifice, and the overall story was ok. BUT the production feels very forced to me….maybe disjointed and aimless…..

Dunno, not a great season at all , and one killer finale wont outdo this mediocracy.

Why not? After all, the New Republic (same as the Empire imo) declined to send protection to Navarro. Perhaps he has a new deal for protection with Gideon. He has betrayed Mando before. He was head of the Bounty Hunter's Guild, and might still be for all we know. He is well used to duplicity. When Grogu was to be sold, he didnt turn a hair. The Guild's entire purpose is basically selling people. Would he sell Mando out? I could see it happening.

Maybe he gave them a tract of land, the better to gather them all in one place so the Empire could swoop in.

I can see him doing this far more easily than I can see the Armorer betraying her people. The Armorer and her people have been chased all over the place, and she held them together. She literally lives in caves and tents for her people. The Empire slaughtered her Mandos in season 1. And now she cuts a deal with them? Im doubting it severely.

While folks speculate over how the barely over a half hour finale will wrap this up, here's a little perspective on the "progress" of this show....

We've gone from this... ... to this

I have spoken.

You know what else is unpractical? The way Bo's ship has those giant useless wings, but they have to be pointing straight up to park.

I thought Bo's ship would be a great replacement for the Razor Crest, and the N-1 could "dock" with it and then detach when needed. But there's nowhere to fit an N-1 on the back of that thing when they wings are pointed up for no reason.

(I know. Spaceships don't even need wings. We all know physics have no bearing on the SW universe.)

They do need wings if theyre piloted in atmospheric conditions, I'd think. Even the space shuttle had wing(lets) and that was just re-entering and gliding down....? My space shuttle knowledge is spotty.

The Space Shuttle was just a glider for re-entry I think, which is why it had plane-like wings.

Once a spaceship is in space, wings are completely unnecessary.

I don't see how something like a TIE Fighter would be able to fly in atmosphere. But again....way overthinking this stuff.

I can just picture it, while Din, Boba and Axe all lay in a heap, Fennec, Koska, and Bo step in. Then the moment we’re all waiting for, Brie Larson as Thrawn.

This sounds like one of Zurdo's fantasies. Let me guess: They all strip off their armor and have a pillow fight, then Ahsoka shows up and starts making out with Thrawn, right? And all the while Grogu is watching from a discreet position and hammering that YES button like there's no tomorrow lol...

Holy God you’ve seen the leaks too then!

Something leaked alright.

Collider:

Dunno about "satisfied" or "surprised" because those same comments could be applied to the Mad Hatter cartoon episode where some folks might be satisfied to see Lizzo and some folks were surprised, just not in a good way.

Thanks for sharing.
Ep7 has been the stand out episode. Hopefully we'll be "satisfied" with the finale. Concerned about the short runtime. I don't see how it won't feel somewhat rushed.
The first 6 episodes were a disappointment to me but hopefully they'll stick the landing on the last 2 and salvage the season somewhat.

Such usual condescending tone. Thanks God it was Lucas created StarWars and my childhood, not from you.

Yes thats completely understood, thats why I specified that they were necessary once a given craft has reentered an atmosphere.

Im aware that this is space fantasy, which is why we have Slave 1 zooming around in atmosphere like nothings wrong. That ship would never be viable in atmospheric conditions. And i dont think TIEs would be either, not really.

Allow me to fan-splain :lecture

... it is known that Star Wars craft use complex configurations of repulsor fields to push off against things like planetary mass. Aerodynamics be damned!

...

...

... okay that sounds weak even for fan-splainin'
