With the bike and potentially the Batmobile being made I wonder if this figure will be developed in a way that allows them to sit on/in more naturally than has been the case with Hot Toys figures.

Exciting this is a Q2 release. Can’t wait.
I don’t know, man. These Q1-Q2 releases are stressing me tf out. I’m gonna be moving soon and I’m paranoid as all get out about any shipping hiccups.:lol If Joker can hit in February and they can hold off until, like, June or July for Batman, I’ll be happy.

I can see all of their releases being delayed a quarter, unless if they accounted for CNY shutting down the factories for 1-2 months. I just rather they focus on the final quality being on par than anything else. Certainly if they feel like there are areas they can improve.

I'm in no rush to get my hands on them, if HT has taught me anything it's that delays happen and patience is key.

Indeed. I also imagine they're learning a lot from producing Joker since that's their very first figure into the market. What to do and what not to do. Things to improve here and there when dealing with these factories, etc etc. I rather they do what they have to in order to be satisfied with the quality they put out, which from the way John said in the interview, is their main focus. They shouldn't be afraid to delay if there's problems or if the quality in the production version isn't up to their standard.

Putting out a subpar figure will be worse than a few people being angry at them for missing a deadline.

I think they would have already accounted for the CNY, it’s a 2 weeks leave in most of China. People working in the cities had to travel a few days to reach hometown for reunion.

I truly hope Inart doesn’t follow suit in this case. We’ve been taught naught imo, we just didn’t have a choice but to wait. That shouldn’t be the norm, and I hope that as much as we demand from Inart, not treating us as fools is one of those things.

Remember, after the delays, HT has started with the “it’s gone! Naaah, just kidding there’s more. No, now it’s really gone! Wait, there’s a few more. We love you. Now they’re really gone!” strategy. I hate that we’ve had to deal with that.

That’s not to say that starting a company is hard and that some delays might occur. I just hope it doesn’t become the norm and that we don’t become complacent all over again.

that is why i am going to keep my sideshow batcycle order until inart officially announces theres. But if it turns out to indeed be better then i will cancel the order. i already canceled my hot toys deluxe for 1 standard and 1 deluxe inart batman + batsignal..

agree. hopefully they can be a company that strive for perfection and still deliver products below 1year since the initial preorder. I’m a bit sick with the waiting game:lol

I suspect they will. From what John has said on the various streams they're taking time to perfect the process on each figure before showing us anything.

Longer waits to see pre-orders but should shorten the production process.

After really digging into the comparisons, I cancelled the HT DX with Batsignal version in favor of the All-In Inart version. It looks so much better proportionally and with the little touches (magnetic hands, head, and stand), I felt they delivered a better rendition of Battinson. They really won me over after seeing how well they delivered on the Joker. If there is ever a head to head again, Im going to lean into Inart from now on. HT should feel like they're on notice.

Agreed, what made me cancel is purely this: Plastic or mixed fabrics?

I'd rather a 1/6 Batman look like he's wearing a suit than plastic.

Wherever I can I'll always trying to get a version with mixed media over plastic on plastic.

Is there a comparison of both listing the fabrics/plastic components? They seem like they both have the same plastic boots/gauntlets/bicep/shoulder/chest armour.

Saw these on bbicn. Don't remember seeing all of them when the figure was announced. Must have missed them.

I'm ok with them taking their time to make it perfect. Even if their figure is delayed by a few months as long as we can get it this year I'll be happy. Plus the HT one will hold me over assuming that isn't delayed a year.

I will be shocked if the Hot Toys one is released before the InArt one.

I guess there is some incentive for HT to move production up on their version or, at the very least, not delay it since I’d expect a decent number of people with HT POs at sideshow also PO’d InArt’s Batman and are just waiting for the green light to cancel and get their NRDs back.
