The body proportions are great aside from the neck, she's definitely more full in comparison to their last one's. The sculpt could be improved for sure, I don't know why they're so insistent on giving really thin eyebrows for one, they should be way thicker.

Anything is subject to change but a Wonder Woman was on their Phase 1 list.

I’d like at least one InArt figure and that’s one I would consider. Would be cool if they made a Lynda Carter Wonder Woman as well.

Time so save up, or restricting myself from clicking other figures while waiting for the ZSJL trinity..

Because we have standards for a near $300 figure, and if it ain’t good we won’t just shut up and accept a mediocre figure.
When something doesn't measure up to your standards, you don't preorder it. I think that's one of the reasons HT changed up Peacemaker. Well, that and board negativity 😆

This has felt like a back burner type of release for a while but it's kind of insane that by the time the figure is in the hands of most collectors, it'll probably be near 3 years since it was announced.

And the movie came out 2 years ago. That might as well be an eternity in this day and age.

Jeez it does feel so long ago that this has been put for PO :lol Still, I'm happy it'll be coming our way soon!

I had this on preorder, then cancelled now want again but also don't want, Idk what to do lol

P.S. I also know Inart one gonna be superior so probably better get that one. I need the sword and shield.

Tried to do a comparison, looking for similar photos of Gadot.

[...] To me the overall shape of the face and mouth are correct.

Thanks for posting this comparison! Wow, I'm more impressed, seeing the sculpt side-by-side with a picture of GG WW. The sculpt/paint is up to a good standard, and I think the likeness is pretty strong. For a literal inch tall face sculpt, I think it looks very good and overall I'm happy with what I'm seeing, just my own opinions.

Is the head not pushed down all the way? That's a big gap underneath the hair.

Hmm, I'd like to think they made the gap intentional for a bit better posing, like they've done for a few other figures (if I'm not mistaken).

Agreed; LOL yup I guess her eyebrows should be thicker :rotfl but I don't mind them as is :lol

Wait till people here have it in hand and then make a decision. If you still want it, it’s worth considering. You’d have a figure soon instead of waiting for a figure that doesn’t exist yet.

It’s also probably not going to move very fast so hold off for a discount. Maybe get it if it hits 15-20% off. Pass if it doesn’t.

InArt didn’t specify which Wonder Woman appearance so it could be any; might be a costume you don’t prefer. And that figure won’t be released for many years from now anyway.

They seem to just be mainly doing male figures right now and Wonder Woman would require a unique body beyond their planned female figures so there might be a very long R&D period.

And the DCU reboot might’ve thrown some plans into limbo on top of that.

Thank you! Definitely gonna wait to the better pictures and reviews to make a final decision. I have a feel InArt is doing BvS trinity, I remember I saw that info somewhere, but everything could change since then.

Even allowing for different focal lengths and lighting, and the different expression; it seems to me the sculpt fails miserably at capturing Gl Gadot.

I think there's a lot of little things going on, but mainly it's the shape of the eyes, eyebrows and nose. To me the overall shape of the face and mouth are correct.
While it’s not from WW84, I’d say this is a fair comparison.
In 84 her makeu is different and Jenkis told Gal to act and look softer and kinder.

On this sculpt I seen Gal a lot, just not from 84

I think it's tough because the figure is almost 3 years old and a lot has changed in the last few years.

InArt exploded onto the scene and has been delivering. Hot Toys has been upping their game a bit in response. Expectations are higher.

And on top of that, it's hard to top the stunning Golden Eagle armor version Hot Toys themselves already released some time ago.

This does not seem like a terrible figure by any means, and might look better in person as these sometimes do. But it also doesn't feel like a figure made for 2023.

We've all been spoiled.

Gotta agree with you. When you look at the strides HT has made recently (avatar figures aside) in response most likely to InArt, it’s sort of hard to feel excited about this knowing now how good things could’ve been had HT actually put in the effort that they are now. They’re obviously capable as we can see but have apparently been leaving us with what they felt was “good enough” until InArt.

To me, it's the eyes, eyebrows and the lips that are throwing it off both in shape and paint colour imo.

Hope InArt can deliver if they do a Gal WW, like they have done with Aragorn.
