Your enthusiasm for the figure is contagious because I went from kind of wanting the figure to actually thinking about it now.

Looks goodddd!!!!!! I really like the suit design for the movie.

I wondered how the wings worked. Would have been nice if they flicked out like the toy. I also wish the jetpack was in keeping with the suit. It's a bit too Rocketeer for me.

I also wish they had the functionality of the TY toy. Yeah the grey jetpack is a bit of a change from the Buzz everyone's familiar with, but it doesn't bother me much.

I think my main disappointment is the lack of a second face sculpt. The weapons and wings attachment somewhat lack relevance, and come off a little goofy when equipped without the intense face sculpt. That said, this is still a pretty solid release and one not to miss.

Yeah multiple face plate options would be ideal, similar to the revoltech's.

The suit needs to light up as well. I'd never turn them on, but HT manages to put all the lights on the IM figures.

I reckon this'll have Iron Man figure engineering involved, based on how the suit looks. Heck Buzz could be Iron Man

Maybe there was a live action movie that the kids TV show was based on and then they did a remake of the TV show into a modern day live action movie...and Andy watches the live action sequel to that movie?

I’ve actually thought about that helmet functionality over the years. All of the merchandise has ever had a removable dome or a half sliding dome. They’ve never mastered that fully contractable dome. It would have to go all the way under the suit and the suit would have to be big enough to hold the dome under the head’s neck joint and somehow fit in with all the electronics. Buzz’s helmet functionality is probably the most unrealistic thing in all of Toy Story

its just odd to wrap my head around something like this in Hot Toys form, I'd probably have to see in-hand photos or maybe the secret base pics, something like that just based on the promo pics you would think you could just find at target in the toy aisle

Thought I was the only who felt this way. I’m sure the quality is there but even the secret base pic looks like a toy you can pickup from Walmart or target.

I'll have to watch the movie first before deciding on this one. But I do agree, he should come with 2 HS (one with the purple covering and one with hair )

Might actually be excluded from North America then. I can’t think of the last time Sideshow didn’t put up a HT item same-day as official pics and specs. Mentioned earlier in the thread, Winnie the Pooh never went up so it’s possibly like that and only available to Asian markets.

Even beast kingdom 8" one which costs around 100$ has 2 heads and ligh up feature, I mean wtf. Fully sculpted piece, no clothes or realistic face/paint must be max 240
