It hurt me when Regan “broke” the armor on the back. But his mistake just saved me from trying that an crunch when mine comes in.
Besides being usually the first to get figures in-hand since he can just walk down to Secret Base, his camera work is usually quite good and I appreciate that he’s not afraid to push figures to the limit even when that means sometimes damaging them.

Beat me to it. Really surprised to see them actually suggesting hair gel is the way to go.
HT have indicated that sometimes on the instructions. This is from the Black Widow Civil War sheet:

It looks like the rooted hair material on WW84 is similar to the Selina Kyle rooted hair, which is thick and somewhat tough and not as easy to style.

The Avengers Black Widow which also had rooted hair uses different material and was more pliable. My Avengers Black Widow kept its hairstyle even after having it for close to 4 years (never fixed or had to futz with). Can't recall if the CA Black Widow shares the same material as the Avengers BW.

Justin just got it delivered during a live stream a little while ago. He opened on live stream and showed the head sculpt. Between the review thats out and what Justin showed of it, she looks much better on video.
Yep, his video review is up now too. I don't understand the disappointment from people because it looks great.

Nice! I was hoping he would put the headsculpt on a JL or BvS body and I'm glad he did. It looks great and as he mentioned, somehow, the Gal likeness even pops even more with the regular WonderWoman outfit.
I'm not worried about the neck possibly looking a little bigger as you can always take the adapter inside the head and use blutac if it isnt tight enough.
I've done this many times before, and there are times you may not even need blutac if the head sits properly on the neck.
Definitely will try to pick up a loose head when its available. Just worried its probably gonna cost an arm and a leg.

The deluxe is impressive as hell but I don't think I would ever devote that much space to a figure
I think with the base allowing her to do a "fly" pose, you can always display her hovering above the others, so the space below the wings can still be filled. Unless of course you have the detolf kind of display space, or similar to that size which is kinda tight.

Could be above the detolf too, but then prone to dust, but I think in the detolf with the non-deluxe next to a standard WW would be okay for me.

The spread wings look really is so striking, though, with wider shelves and raised behind other figures like you described it would make for such an eye-catching display.

True. Dust is our enemy! Although this one will be easier for the dust to be brushed off, because her armor is not made of fabric.
You can't lose both ways, though.. the non deluxe already looks amazing.

I agree, and that's exactly why I get the deluxe one. The spreading Gadot will be one of the centerpieces on my display. And I like to have options, even though they are quite pricey spread wings! 😆

Looks very good in Justin's review! Early pics certainly didn't do her justice.

The golden armour is gorgeous so I'm tempted. Just not sure where would she fit into the collection? I try to avoid stand alone figures.

The regular armour version will go with BvS Batfleck and JL Superman as my ideal trinity.

I'm with Justin in wishing now that I had just ordered the regular version. The extended wings look impressive and I have the space for it, but I just like the look of the folded wings so much more and that's how I'll likely have it displayed long term anyway.

You can always sell the spread wings later when the deluxe is sold out everywhere!

I'm a firm believer of always buying deluxe.

The worst that happens is that you sell the extra parts for at minimum the difference you paid. But you'll always have the more valuable fig.

Still regret not getting the deluxe ROTJ Boba.
