I'm totally in for Moon Knight. X-Men 97/Marvel Zombies might be alright. Secret Invasion I'm sure is like a Nazi hunter movie. Already see where that is going.

As with all the D+ shows so far, it really is a bridge to a movie that we really didn't need. I would be fine with Loki showing up in Strange 2 and finding out that Wanda is a crazy witch. Sam and Bucky getting into the new world without Rogers and Zemo has an evil team in Cap4. Secret Invasion/chick in Wanda/Ms Marvel all leading to The Marvels.

The milking is hard on those teats right now.

Agatha the Movie...?

I am Groot?

Marvel Zombies? Might as well be Marvel Cosbabies...
Marketing like Netflix. We have these demographics that cover various genres and we need one for each of them. Netflix has been criticized for this with canceling numerous shows over the years after a season and people realized it was just to check a box. Pretty clear Marvel is leading that charge with new content for Disney. Obviously the hardcore Marvel base will consume it, but I'm not that gullible. Pass on most of these and if not for Moon Knight, I might be totally shut out. Makes you wonder if this will segregate some of the fanbase. It might have already begun.

I've never read a single issue of Moon Knight.

The only thing I remember about him is that he was always a D list character, and his book always got canceled.

The last few issues of his series in the early 90s was super HOT cause Wizard Magazine promoted the hell out of the artist, a McFarlane wannabe named Stephen Platt. Overnight, the last five issues of the book were like $50 each.

About ten years later, at one of the last comic conventions I attended, I found all those HOT "Platt" issues in a dollar bin. I bought them just for the hell of it, but they were just unreadable. The covers were eye-catching but the interior art was a mess.

Anyway.

I'm sure that Agatha series is gonna be amazing. Think she'll make that face where she opens her mouth super big and winks at the camera? Boy, I hope so.

Oh, you can bet she will... ;)

You are not wrong. Never got into Moon Knight either, but I see the potential there. Eternals was Feige's Justice League, while this is his Batman. This kind of fills that street-level/Defenders character that is sorely missed right now. Just need some badass and I am not seeing badass from Marvel right now.

A deaf Native America character! We have two deaf characters now! That's good since everyone knows sign language.

I dunno, I find Endgame compulsive viewing aswell - meaning if I put that on I end up doing a Khev. And then the next night I'll go back and watch Infinity War. I think I've watched them out of order like that at least twice. :lol

But yeah, agreed with everything that's been said about Infinity War. Top film. That's why I was a bit annoyed at the time about Black Panther getting a Best Picture nomination instead. Infinity War was easily the better movie.
Oh wow yeah I forgot about that. Yeah you ain't kidding on IW blowing it away.

I still love Endgame though. It's slow in many more places but I love the payoff of all the heroes returning at the end... But yeah, Infinity War is damn near perfect.
Yep, same. Just finished IMAX EG and holy crap do I love that movie as well. If I want to try to be an objective reviewer then yes IW is absolutely the masterpiece of the MCU and definitely surpasses EG. But holy crap the feels in EG! So many highs and lows. I think Widow's death (that music with "It'll be okay...") is one of the saddest moments of any big picture like this. And then the excitement of them gearing up for the time tunnel, suiting up prior to Hulk's snap, and then the *multiple* euphorias in the final battle with Mjolnir, "on your left," "assemble," and all the rest.

EG definitely takes longer to get going but I must say that watching it so soon after IW that's a good thing. The two films together needed that lull and EG just happened to be the one where it occurs. It's interesting that the first 15 or so minutes of EG really play as a continuation of IW and then it shifts gears for the five year break. Kind of fun to imagine how IW would have played if it ended with Thanos' beheading and then Thor walking out the door. Then both films would be exactly 2 hrs 45 minutes but man IW would have been an even bigger downer with everyone dying and then oh yeah the stones are gone too, the end, lol.

IW is definitely more immersive from beginning to end since there are several moments that take me out of EG. Some "woke" stuff here and there, the controversy with Brie Larson even being in the movie, some of the shifts in tone and so on, but nothing that stops the juggernaut of overall enjoyment, feels, and satisfaction. Holy crap the music at the funeral as Pepper walks outside with the flowers. Pass the freaking tissues man, lol.

One of the greatest things about EG is that by the time it's done I find myself just freaking adoring the entire MCU up to that point. All the characters, the overall narrative, the people who dared to make these movies, it's a freaking lovefest so I don't know how I can *not* consider this film a 10/10 too (even if my head says it's maybe an 8 or 8.5) It so perfectly wraps up the entire series but also feels like it wraps up the genre, movies in general, pop culture, life...(lol) I genuinely feel bad for the folks put off by this film due to how Hulk or Thor or anything else was handled. There's never gonna be a moment in cinema like this again, this was it!

Man, I'm just blown away.

All this heavy handed representation and pandering and yet EG had that really elegant and touching little moment between Nebula and Rhodey about their disabilities so to speak. "I wasn't always like this," "Me neither. But we work with what we got, right?" Bam, there you go right there. Super inspirational little moment that anyone feeling jipped for any reason about some physical ailment or infirmity can relate to.

Yay an Agatha series! Boy marvel is really marketing all the characters that everyone wants and made there brand what it is today! It’s not like they got back all the fox characters or anything !
Super hyped for this! Can’t tell you how excited I am to see another z list character brought to life !

I agree. I’m tired of all these no name characters like Shang chi, eternals and America whomever. Let’s focus on the characters that made marvel marvel. Not z list losers who nobody knew about til now. Where is the push for ghost rider, a better Luke cage, the freaking mutants.
Could care less about these guys
They did that for 10 years already

Nah. They ain’t even scratch the surface. What you talking about? They haven’t even made a wolverine vs hulk movie. Who the hell wants to watch z list characters when we haven’t seen a proper galactus, various xmen characters, namor, or doom yet? But sure I’m sure the eternals will bring in the numbers . Oh wait

I’d have considered GOTG z-list before they got a movie, now look at them.

You’ll get your X-Men soon enough, and whatever a Namor is. They’re trying some different things now, for better or for worse.

So far worse, but it’s whatever, my investment in the MCU plummeted after Endgame so I don’t really care that much anyway.

Gotg atleast looks fun. I understood why they did it. But that was when the mcu was broken tbh. Not all the characters were back. You can try new things while bringing back classic characters. They don’t need to scrape the bottom of the barrel for characters anymore when they haven’t even touch some classic ones. Eternals should have been a whole Disney plus animated special
