Great pics! Where does that clear pole attach on the figure? Makes for a realistic flight stand!
Thanks! I made some special grabbers to hold him in place in a variety of poses. They usually can be hidden pretty well if placed properly. I just hate those black, bendy poles that HT uses.

Lol yes I think everyone hates those “dynamic” grabber stands HT makes.

Could you share some more pics of the special grabbers? Do you use these for all of your custom flight stands?

Yeah, I use them on all my flight stands for the most part. You can configure them in a bunch of different ways and they usually hide well.

I really like the vintage Mandalorian aesthetic of the weathered, pale blue armor. The ripped Super Solider body fills out the suit and armor nicely.

As expected, there's a bit of restricting in the shoulder articulation due to the layers of the fight suit, under suit, buffed arms, and broad corners of the chest armor, but not really much of an issue for most poses. Still, he has a sleek look with the excellent tailoring on the flight suit, and uncluttered gear on the utility belt. Just hoping all the pleather stays stable, otherwise no regrets. Glad to see HT fixed the trigger hand with the wonky thumbs pictured in the promo shots. It's a satisfying addition to my Mando collection!

What a week! 2 PO's dropped, DWM and Shoretrooper Squad Leader. Considering what's coming soon, and the increasing pace of releases, it might be getting serious! Lol.

Honestly, I'm having a blast!

He could tell you where the pole goes, but he’s trying to keep his posts safe for work.

Absolutely lovely pix. Thanks for posting.

Finally opened this guy today. Really nice, as everyone has mentioned...but what I hadn't realized until now is that not only does he show how the series' props department kept reusing Din's durasteel armor for everybody -- but they didn't even mirror his kneepad when they equipped the Deathwatch suit with two. He's just wearing two left knees, with the rockets removed from the right-side one.

My two DWM landed home yesterday. Had an issue with one of them. First feared a broken elbow joint but upon closer inspection, it appeared articulation wasn't fully inserted in the arm.

i removed the top part of the outfit to have a closer look. For some reason, the fat suit got pinched where the arm and elbow connect. Pretty straightforward fix but still a painful process to remove the outfit and access this area.

It's satisfying though, when you find a simple fix and solve it yourself.

Some of these figures I don't like to take apart because I'm never sure which ones aren't supposed to be taken apart, because they're either stitched or glued together.

Very satisfying indeed. I feel lucky this defect happened to be on a figure that can actually be undressed.

The lack of a codpiece was a good start!

With the Boba Fetts I think they were all glued at the sides, so you had to carefully pry the joint apart.

Yes i remember that one. Thought about fully taking him apart to remove the fat suit but eventually changed my mind.

Great gallery of shots, endo! Indeed, isn't it really cool to get a figure that practically falls out of the box looking perfect? :)

Is is truly impressive to see a figure that has so many re0used elements looking so unique.

Thank you @jedibear !
Indeed, it's an excellent release! I didn't really want to pass on him, it's just that there's so many other excellent releases landing all at the same time. Once that got sorted out, I was glad to get my order in and not miss out.

It been an good year for HT SW!
:clap

The great big, little bitty DWM review:

DWM showed uP unexpectedly on Monday night, but has only just now been unboxed. This is the best kind of HT fix: he falls out of the box ready to go, basically and every last part of this rehashed design is perfect. He is a delight to view. He isnt fussy, not hard to pose, does not have fragile armor. He is just delightful. I almost want a squad of these guys... If only I had the room.

The stand: this flight stand is just HT being a b!tch. I am sorry, it is! They could easily make it so that a third-party generic upright snaps into that slot, but they didnt. This is just plain b!tchy behavior. For the money we pay, include a basic upright piece. People have been making this request for literally years.

Right now the figure is on SSC Mythos Boba's stand, and I must say he looks great on it. I am modifying the enclosed stand and waiting for the epoxy to dry overnight. I know HT thinks they can dictate how we display these figures, but surprise.... They cant.

You have seen many lovely pix from people who take far better pix than mine, so i wont bore you with mine. In closing, get DWM or.... be sorry later. Oya, ner vod!
