The standard was the obvious choice from day one. Cheaper and has a better base. The Grogu included is too similar to the first one, if not identical.

I’m quite curious to see what the standard base looks like in person. Glad HT is doing it a bit different with this one and the Bo Katan with the ships railing. Do more of this HT.

How poseable are the seamless rubber arm joints, what other figures have used them?(never owned a figure that used them, they kind of creep me out), if you have one how do they hold up?
Especially after having them in any dynamic pose over time?

They're fairly poseable but as a general rule (to avoid potential damage) refrain from bending the elbows at an angle approaching 90 degrees or less. Pretty much use your common sense - If you can see a crease at the elbow you've probably gone too far (i.e., the rubber is likely bunching up at the sides of the elbow and is being stretched in back). Leaving them in that position long term can lead to material fatigue and tears in the rubber. For the shoulders I wouldn't rotate them too far forward, back or out to the side for the same reason.

Compared to other figures, proportion-wise her arms & shoulders look like the last 3 Wonder Woman figures (BvS, Training Armor & JL). Those are definitely more robust than previous HT figures with seamless arms like Sarah Connor, Abigail Whistler, Ada Wong, GoTG Gamora and Shuri.

So it's safe to say the Magistrate died at the the hands of AT? It seems the case. I would've liked to have seen Ahsoka interrogate her though.

The arms of the figure matches shoulder syructure of Rosario in the show. It adds to screen accuracy.

Really love Rosario’s Ahsoka, and seeing her in live action was awesome! Happy to have this preorder.

But as I’m just finishing up my first viewing of Clone Wars Season 7, I’m also really hankering for a younger Clone Wars Ahsoka. I wonder if there any chance. The one they announced looks like an older, almost Rebels Ahsoka to me (maybe it’s just the realistic style the went for), which is cool, but not quite the prime padawan Ahsoka I was hoping for. Maybe Sideshow will do an animated version for $255

Not necessarily. Ahsoka needed information from the Magistrate to help her get closer to finding Thrawn and Ezra. There would be no reason to kill her afterwards. If anything, the Magistrate's going to be dealt with by the people of Calodan or the New Republic.

I think despite it marring the clean line, I would have been more at ease with a socket joint into the shoulder, and Ahsoka's elbows are covered by material, so a dynamic double and swivel joint at the elbow would have been completley hidden anyway.
Just whenever I see the stretched rubber over a working joint, I anticipate wear, and inevitable decomposing and tearing .

I think despite it marring the clean line, I would have been more at ease with a socket joint into the shoulder, and Ahsoka's elbows are covered by material, so a dynamic double and swivel joint at the elbow would have been completley hidden anyway.
Just whenever I see the stretched rubber over a working joint, I anticipate wear, and inevitable decomposing and tearing .

I was about to suggest that they might end the rubber skin above the elbow (under the sleeves) and still use a standard elbow joint, but her sleeves have those diamond shaped cutouts so those might be an issue.

This is the best advice for anyone that’s worried about it. I’ve not had issues with rubber bodies, but I kept them in museum poses.

It’s not as exciting, but you can’t leave the arms bent if you want to preserve the figure.

I recall seeing reports of the Wonder Woman figures being a bit fragile. As always, I don’t know how many of those folks were too aggressive in handling their figures, but hopefully Hot Toys will continue to improve upon their material and quality control.
