Wow! This came out looking great, I've not been allured by any of the BWs, but this one seems to be too good. But then again there's the upcoming solo movie versions, ah so many!

IMHO, this is the version of Black Widow to get if you want one. I like the white suit from the solo movie version but the head will not be able to articulate due to the design of the sculpted hair. This version should be able to turn its head in whichever direction you want as long as you're careful with the ponytail. I've seen from a review video that the ponytail is flexible and you can move it out of the way by making her head look up if you want Black Widow to turn her head to the left (right from the viewer's perspective). The head sculpt on this version is also very beautiful.

All good points! Will heavily contemplate this one! :wink1:

So I got my Black Widow today and she is... fine. It is a bit of an obligation figure for me since I'm trying to get most of the Endgame line and didn't have a Widow already. The head sculpt is superb but I'm not in love with the suit material. I definitely get the sense that the knee pads for sure will peel off just like Deadpool if kept bent for too long. One thing that was definitely bugging me right out of the box is that her holsters don't sit down at the same height on both legs. Looking back through some pictures and reviews and it seems like it is supposed to be that way? Even looks like that in the promo photos. But then there are some photos of ScarJo online that show her with her belt tilted and the holsters at the same height. Just curious what you guys think.

Honestly I think it?s really difficult to say for sure just because of how little reference there is for the suit. One display has the holsters loose around the pegs, which is how I have it, but that?s also because I?m worried about damaging the costume. If yours came with the holsters right around the leg, I HIGHLY recommend moving them down. Mine came that way and right out of the box there was a dent in the suit from the holster digging into the material.

I believe that the holsters on the Hot Toys figure are correct based on the picture I've attached below. You will notice that the patterns on the sides of her thighs are asymmetrical and the holsters are aligned to those patterns. The belt is slightly tilted from one end as you mentioned but it doesn't bother me personally because I prefer the look of the symmetrical belt.

Interesting. I cant find any differences in the pattern on the figures thighs, is that a detail they missed? Here is how I am going to have her futzed, it seems like this orientation is how the belt and holsters want to sit best in terms of not being too tight against the suit on the waist or either thigh. Sorry for the crap pic quality. Also, yes I have 5 figures on a shelf because even with 8 detolfs I am running out of room. I know that sort of crowdedness triggers a lot of collectors, lol.

Have to admit I've been feeling kinda underwhelmed by how this looks in most of the pics out there, but I just received mine today and think it looks absolutely amazing in hand. The sculpt is gorgeous and the eyes on mine seem to be looking a tiny bit more upward, so she's not staring vacantly ahead as much. And I don't see any problem with the elbow joints, as long as you make sure to bend them at the lower joint and not the upper one (I'm always surprised how many people don't bend the knee and elbow joints correctly).

My only complaint is with how much padding they've put on either side of her torso, and how loose the suit is there. I know they were trying to give her some of those curves that previous BW figures were missing, but it doesn't really come across that well. Although the figure does at least capture her proportions better than any of the others I have.

I hear you about how photos don't capture the sculpt on hand. It's unfortunately the limitation of most cameras. I noticed the same thing when I take pictures of my figures with my phone camera. Some details are lost and the proportions can get distorted depending on your distance from the figure. A good DSLR or mirrorless camera with a macro lens works best IMHO but I don't have that right now.

i have preordered thisfigure in 25 august. so its still not in stocks yet. what do you think? will they ship it in this week or will there be a delay?

i ordered it from sideshow. but i am not in us. sideshow still show it as "arrive in august"
Oh okay got mine from sideshow last week or so. Probably second shipping for you.
