So what Photoshop magic did you do there? Rooted hair, lighter skin, some touch ups to the shape of the face?

That's a great idea! Include different hair pieces (if I'm not mistaken they've done it before with a SW Luke figure) or even better different head sculpts with different hair allocations.

Hmm, it could be the hair is blocking the view, but it seems the suit goes higher up, or a new upper torso is developed? Where the upper suit sits around the chest area on my JL WW looks lower than this new version.

No doubt covid had some part in the delay. Still think the sculpt is spot on, it could de with a fairly lighter paint application just to make her features softer. If someone professionally got hair rooted for this it would be killer.

Based on the description, it sounds like a new upper torso. "Enhanced articulations on shoulders allowing flexible movement" and "Newly developed specialized body with over 17 points of articulations" make it seem that this is more than just a new head sculpt.

This is 100% bought.
If I look closely, I see some of Training Armour face, particularly the eyes. Hmm... I might get this. Wouldn't have to worry about, Futzing!

So what about the paint on the sculpted hair staining the body? Or the restrictive head movement, unless the hair is really bendy. I hated having rooted hair on the other figures, but at least I don?t have to worry about the 2 things I mentioned. Will wait for in hand pictures to decide (5 years from now, because hot toys don?t give a crap about DC)

The hair isn't so bad, Thor Dark World worked quite well, Aquaman not as much. But in all honesty, her body type shouldn't be left in extreme poses anyway, so what much point is there for extreme articulation of her head? The facial expression screams stoic rooted to the floor determinism. I think if you guys want to articulate it a lot you'll have to seek out the Golden Armour rooted hair sculpt to put on it.
I think people ask way too much of Hot Toys to create magic materials with properties that always retain its form whilst being durable and strong yet bendy and pliable at 1/6 of the scale that the real material itself is not even able to do for a lifetime.

Sculpted hair looks great. If I were to buy a Wonder Woman Hot Toys figure, it would be this one.
BBTS sure is marking these up now. She's $270 over there but $255 at SS. Guess they gotta make you pay for that "$4 shipping" somehow

But then, SS will charge $25 shipping + tax to get to the same cost.
