net does not appear to have turned out well.... :(

As I said on the other forum yesterday, that body picture looks really bad, but it's also a low quality image. The first images of the City hinter last week looked underwhelming, only for much better images to sow up shortly after and make it look like an entirely different statue. We see this all the time, I think it's just an unwritten law in this hobby that the first peron to post pictures has to try and give everybody else whom preordered the statue heart palpitations. This thing is super expensive!! If I'm not entirely happy, I'll drop my order in a heartbeat. But I'm not forming that opinion until we've seen a few more in hand pictures and opinions. Hopefully soon, and hopefully more convincing than what we've seen so far.

More from the collector who got the misaligned black spots. Setting aside that issue, the brown spots are shaped quite poorly. I don't know how they could nail them on the Fugitive and then completely farm it on the most iconic Predator.

The shelf display photos aren't great quality, highly compressed unfortunately.

It must be standard that the first person to get stuff takes a craptastic pic...

LOL - yeah - it's in the small-print on ALL producers webpages - "Please note that we'll scare the crap out of you with the first in-hand pictures published by a collector".

They were good enough that I decided to preorder though.

Thanks for the latest pics bud.

(* EDIT - I'm rather concerned about that fellas choice of wallpaper though! :google *)

I think it is still a pretty great looking statue. Gloss would help A LOT, the body and face is far far too matt. But I think it looks pretty decent. It is not as amazing as some had hope, but not bad.

Man, this is a lot at once with this, the victim and the Big Chap. However, I am excited about this. It does not look perfect, but literally nothing is. I would however need a replacement for the misaligned paint app (which seems more like a waterslide decal) on the head if I were to receive one. That would bother me too much.

I can't wait to receive him.

Some folks on StatueForum are toying with the notion that these early photos could be from people with connections to the factory, perhaps getting ahold of early samples or pieces that didn't pass QC. I don't know what to think, sometimes better looking pieces come out months later, other times they come out looking exactly the same.

You'd think Prime 1 would at least say something on their official channels. They usually get back to people who Facebook message them, perhaps someone could ask them to confirm the release.

I hope what we're seeing now will indeed be improved upon. "Not bad" isn't acceptable at $1500. Then again, quite a few people on Facebook think it's excellent, so I don't see the incentive for Prime 1 to step up their game.

From those photos, the head position seems to have been changed (tilting more). Don't know why they changed that as it looks better in the proto unless the head has some articulation? Or maybe it's the angle of the photos making it look like that.

I think they may have done a better job with the fugitive pred, but this is still decent. Need more pics and videos to pass final judgement.

I was thinking the same thing.. Cant tell if its the angle of the camera or if the head placement has been adjusted.. I dont like it as much.

Yeah it looks like they changed the position of the head. Doesn't look as dominate as the original position, feels like his checking his flank, almost like caught of guard. Or his just finished doing a hip hop my bro move. Need a full video of this to see if it's just an illusion from the camera or indeed the head position has altered.
