I like both my DX and Medicom Batmen equally, but right now I am having more fun with the DX because it's newer.

Not sure what you mean. The movie suit was made of rubber except for the mesh parts (the liner of the suit). And when it comes to that, BOTH the Medicom Batman and DX Batman are inaccurate.

Yes but it was a firm polyuerathane, a lot closer in feel to the Medi.

I also have a feeling the Medi will be fresh in five years, not sure about the long term durability of the DX.

Regardless, I can't wait to get it!

looking at this reminds me why I prefer the custom capes. It is just too thick look like hanging naturally as it was in the movie. The moment you throw in the custom cape it just looks so much more realistic in close up shots. Of cause with lots of fuzzing the factory cape could look realistic too but naturally hanging should always look better than trying to imitate the coat hanging naturally

Noticed you dont have the stand set up on yours. Does he stand up good, like that? i was gonna try that but didnt wanna take the chance of him tippin over when im not in the room!

The display base is just to big for the figure IMO. You have this big base & Bats is placed at the very back (that is if you have the stand on). It just leaves to much space in the front. Not really complaining, just took notice of how weird it looks...!

you installed the stand incorrectly then. The "fingers" in the stand were inserted in the reverse orientation during packaging to optimize space use. But inserting the stand following the fingers orientation is actually incorrect and will result in your observation. You need to reverse the fingers and also reverse the installation of the stand and it will all look proper

out of the 10 hot toys figures i own i only use stands for rocky and predator as they wont stand without them in the poses i want! i stopped using stands when i noticed minor paint scratches between the legs of robocop and IM between the crotch area! and with bats bein rubber i wont chance it.its ok if you dont constantly repose them!
i have my figures mainly with wide legs stances or with just one foot on the stand-balances the figure out and if you get the pose right they wont fall over!

Here's a pic of my bats. I made a custom cape made out of spandex for him awhile ago. In my opinion, i think it looks ten times better than the stock cape.

After getting this figure I did an entire 2 hour rearrange of my toy room. I felt like the room had to be organized if it was going to include the awesomeness of DX Batman (and Joker). Well worth the work.

Ha! Will try and post pics later. My gf says it's like a toy shop in there (she hates my hobby with a passion).
