Not that I’m a buyer for a 1/6 KITT, but it would be pretty cool to see one. The biggest downside of that is all the painful pictures of 1/6 David Hasselhoff kit-bashes that will follow ;)

It’s always a matter of interpretation. Add the fact that the Batwing was shot at nighttime, hard to say what was the exact paint job but I can see what you’re pointing.
Maybe a little bit too grey/white for my taste too.
I love what Toynami did in terms of paint job on theirs. It was so sexy IMO.

But congrats for all the Joost’s version, it’s gonna be epic!
Can’t wait to see the « In hand pics!

Could be reflecting the model/prop painting which was slightly exaggerated to compensate for the dark night time photography. If it was just black you would of lost all the details on screen.

Thanks. It makes sense.

Dear JazzInc,

Please make a 1:6 Aliens UD-4 "Cheyenne" Dropship and TAKE MY MONEY!!!

Sincerely,
Me

Oof, that would be insane. Perhaps feasible if it was like them monthly subscription build-up deals. The real question become, where do you display it?

I’d worry about that once I had it. It’s getting someone to actually make it that’s the problem. 😩

I would AT LEAST love a 1:6 APC. I swear the Colonial Marines have gotten the shaft from the 1:6 market through and through. 😡

I got my batwing last night. Absolutely amazing piece.

WOW ! Congrats on your purchase. I am thinking about buying that one too. It's like of the rare item you can't find anywhere else.

On the photos, it looks good.

What are your inputs on the weathering ? Is it good ? In the prototype video, I see they may have too much white on the black. However, it seems good on your pics compared to the 1/4 used in the movie.

Any quality errors ?

Congrats, it’s a wonderful and awesome piece!
I would have loved to add this to my 89 collection but way to expensive and big for me.

Still thinking by the way that it is slightly over scaled and with 44.92 x 52.4 inches, it is closer to a 1/5 scale if we consider that it should be shorter in length than the Batmobile and its width is equal to the Batmobile’s length.

A true 1/6 should be 36,6 x 42,5 inches.
The Batwing is rather short and compact. It’s clearly visible from profile.

The Toynami one was perfectly in scale with the Batmobile.

well it doesn't matter, congrats to everyone who ordered it, it’s a really special piece!

That's why I wish Furst/Caldow had designed an 89 Batcycle.
Could have a smaller and more afordable vehicle to invoke the fantastic 89 aesthetic, at this scale.:wink1:

I know Toybiz made a suspiciously Robocop repurposed, not quite convincing one...

And artist Joe Quinones retroactivley imagined one for the ongoing 89 comic.

Neither feel quite right to me.

Actually It’s Julian Caldow who designed the Batwing, Batmobile and a few Batman’s weapons in the Furst’s team.
But yeah a bike would have been cool!

Did Julian also design the Bat Ski from Batman Returns?
