Inart will be the better figure we all know that

But hot toys did a pretty decent job and the fact that they were forced to lvl up their game just to have a chance vs Inart means that the figure was meant to be the best they could do for the price point so they can at least be considered a choice.

everyone is winning with more players, now we have to see how it ends 👌

Ah, but therein lies the rub within this hobby - it never truly ends ;)

I'd wait for both HT and IA Batman's to be side by side in the same photo with the same lighting before making any comparisons.
Also, when did ******** on Hot Toys become the "cool" thing to do in collecting? I honestly don't understand it. It's ******* weird. lol
Don't get me wrong, there are definitely manufacturers out there who deserve it. But Hot Toys? Really?

Increasing prices while decreasing quality over the past 8 or so years, limiting 99% of their output to only 2 licenses, no attempt to have a healthy relationship with their customers, botched headsculpts, what few accessories you get now might end up being cardboard, poor choices in materials used for clothes, misspelled nameplates, poor proportions of bodies, constant lazy repaints and re-releases, gradually increasing the size of their figures above 1/6 scale so you can’t display older figures with them as a means of making the customer base feel it’s necessary to buy the lazy, but slightly taller remakes…I could go on if you’d like.

Good thing they said one of the reasons for the delay was for improving the magnetic stand and stability.
I hope they deliver; the stand is a major pain point for me with the Joker release. I was extremely careful, and the thing still fell over in my display.

The film is overall dark but that would mean the white parts (sclera) of the eye would also be dark and that’s not the case. His overall pupil and irises should be darker. And shouldn’t his pupils be even more dilated cause he’s out at night anyway? Fine, perhaps it isn’t a case of the irises, but more so the pupil not being properly dilated lol 😩
MMMMm, The only thing that changes is size of the pupil in relation to the iris (color)

So as the pupil open exposing more black, it shrinks the iris in relation to the pupil.

Sclera size does not change, different anatomy.

... with only the richest able to afford the end result. 😬

Sorry to be schoolmarm but its "moot" point.:lecture:lol
LOL , auto correct.

A friend is looking for a preorder for the rooted Batman.
Is anyone willing to sell it away ?

Hot toys stepped up a lot, with the current prototype of inart I hope they give us a much better headsculpt onto the next event.
The INART feels more like a real person, but in many ways, the Hot Toys is more accurate than INART to the actual suit. Hot Toys really tried on this one lol, and it makes me laugh as this is far better than what they initially advertised. If only they’d put in the same level of effort with other figures.

I wonder if that’s their game plan. Wait for IA to come out with theirs and then come out and best it. Like in the case of the BVS Batfleck 2.0, I wonder if they just put out whatever and if IA puts theirs out relatively soon, if HT will further improve theirs.

At the end of the day, HT knows how to construct figures. They know their ****. And that’s why they’re so frustrating to me because they know they can get away with complacency if there’s no competition, and they sort of do know how to beat the competition.

HT can also just constantly delay indefinitely to revise and upgrade- because they know we have no choice but to accept it- while announcing a dozen variant Iron Man/Spider-Man/Troopers to keep the business afloat, whereas InArt have a much more limited operation and have to at least try to stick to their projected deadlines.

They’ll sink if they have to continually go back to the drawing board to one-up HT.

This will probably factor into a steady decrease in customer communication from IA- especially regarding figure updates or any new techniques they’re working on.
HT are not happy about sharing the market or having to finally get off their asses and put the work in after all these years of coasting.

Trust me, they want InArt gone and will be focused on crushing them where DC figures are concerned.

JND are at such a high price point, they’re barely worth considering in the same arena. If they’re also patenting their tech, that at least stops HT from even attempting to move into the silicone sculpt game, which Howard’s ego is no doubt screaming at him to conquer.

If this is hot toys best shot at crushing Inart, Inart will be just fine- because Inart Batman destroys hot toys

The pictures you shared were of the very early/initial prototype though.

I want InArt’s to be the best, to be better than what it currently is. But there are many details that Hot Toys trumps InArt’s in. I hope IA listens to feedback and addresses those concerns
