Ridley Scott came out and said that he was, a couple of years ago. Many fans were pissed.

Are there any cuts in which this was hinted at? I wouldn't be pissed; it makes the movie even more intriguing, though it does unfortunately render Batty's speech at the end a tad useless.

Director's and final as far as I know.

It makes sense though. Replicants were made to do humans dirty and dangerous work. It makes sense to use a replicants to hunt down other replicants as it would save human lives.

Plus the irony is so very delicious.

Yeah the directors and final cut, when Decker had the unicorn dream and then the origarmi unicorn was left outside his door at the movie's end. As i said though, Ridley came out and said he was.

While on this subject, HT should release a Blade Runner line.
