I forgot about that movie. It was so dumb. Some of the zombies were zombies but some of them were robots… for some reason.

Cringey, poorly written, hideous like every recent Snyder movie. No substance to anything in it, no characters or plot worth caring about.
It's like a kid filmed himself playing with toys. Snyder seems to like making things based on "rule of cool" rather than anything that actually makes sense or attempts to make you use your brain.
Joby Harold was also a writer on Army of the Dead and the Obi-Wan series which were about as awful as eachother.
I get that you're like the #1 fan in the Snyder fanclub but the guy is an absolute hack when it comes to making anything "original".
But that's the last I'll say on the matter, I'm off to watch something worthwhile.
OK, I'll grant you that he's probably not too set in his ways as he's probably smart enough to realize he needs to keep his options open given the ever-changing landscape of the entertainment industry. But inserting chapter cards into an already filmed movie like JL is not the same as filming it with a episodic/series format in mind. If he had that in mind from day one he would have likely blabbed about it even before he "stepped aside" from JL and WB brought in Whedon, but instead it wasn't brought up until years later when he was desperate to get his version seen and willing to massage it into whatever form was necessary to make that happen on HBO.
Always glass half empty when it's Snyder isn't it.

Ed Skrein said recently in an interview that he attended a Sideshow convention (it sounded roughly concurrent with the release of Scargiver), and words to the effect that he’s a huge fan of 1/6 figures. He was asked if there’s anything in the works and he said he wasn’t at liberty to say, but hinted that something will soon be announced.
If we do get 1/6 Rebel Moon figures hope it’s Hot ToyS. I guess if Sideshow were to make them I can live with that.
I’d be down with the entire team, but especially Jimmy.
Or the glass is twice as big as it needs to be lol...

I'm not a fan of heist films, but it had zombies, so I watched it. They did a disservice to heist and zombie films, but still got a sequel which I watched with a group and thought was better than the first with all the stupid zombies.
Better being a comparative statement and not any admission of it being good.
Army of the Dead was okay. Didn't love or hate it. The spin-off although mildly entertaining but it has the type of humor I despise.

Be aware of the distinct lack of good writers being utilized in today's entertainment industry. Synder might not be good at putting a script together but that's not for lack of trying.
Take a look at the majority of shows/films. The only effort put forth is pushing an agenda above all else. The theme of the content takes second place to that.
It's fine to criticize him for this but just apply that same logic to others.

It wasnt very memorable, I just remember not outright hating it (I don't like heist movies), so what humor are you referring to?
It's just to unmemorable I can only slightly remember one of the characters.

I was actually.. Ok with this. But I attribute that to myself just absolutely despising 90% of zombie films. I hate zombies. I hate movies about them, generally.
Resident Evil and 30 days Later or whatever it was called, I liked. I find zombie horror extremely uninteresting, usually. It's far too simple of a plot. It requires characters you'd find interesting or entertaining to get through it, for me personally.
I liked a few characters from Snyder film on that. Saved it for me.
Zombies just bore the **** out of me. The film itself wasn't terribly amazing by any stretch of the imagination but I was entertained. Solid 6/10 for me. Was ok. Not good. Not bad.
Just ok. And I'm good with that.
Bautista needs more roles. I think the dude has acting chops. His M. Night Shymalan role in a semi-recent film (who's title name escapes me) was very good imo.
(disclaimer: huge M. Night Shymalamn fan)
