Finally. He's coming home!

How long does it usually take between blogger photos and Sideshow shipping?

Figure looks great, going to be my first Vader and star wars figure
Did anyone find out if he comes with two capes or is the battle damage Cape reversible?

There's only one cape listed in the product description and I don't believe any of the promo pics show any damage to the cape. Maybe this is supposed to be post-fight Vader before he got his new helmet and chest piece...but he did get his cape back from the dry cleaners lol...

Seriously though, I suppose HT could surprise us with an extra cape but it's not looking like it from the blogger photos.

I would love some non photoshopped , likely paid promo pics.....

Still looks like a winner tough through all the smoke and mirrors.

Pleathor issues are way over blown, I have multiple figures over 10 years old without any cracking or flaking. It's a matter of how they have been stored in the past, handling and how they are displayed.....simple as that.

Would also like to see the USB saber and how it looks without photoshop.

Over all , I believe this will be a VERY impressive figure on shelf. Seeing that face we only could imagine since ESB will be a serious standout in the collection.

I think extreme environmental conditions effect the pleather as well but I'm with you - none of my figures with pleather have any of the cracking and flaking issues that others have complained about. I don't see the pleather on this figure being a problem either.

looks incredible.

know it’s been asked ad nauseam but anyone have advice for how to care for the pleather undersuit? going to be my first vader and ive seen some comments in the past about people using products to maintain it.

knock on wood I havent had any issues with the pleather on my other figures, but obviously this guy has an exceptional amount. is there some recommended conditioner / treatment or should it be fine to just leave it as is?

It varies... It seems to be typically around 1-2 months. But there have been a few times lately where the turnaround time has been much shorter.

That tweaked ANH/R1 helmet/mask still works best for HT 1/6 scale Vaders.

Now will someone kindly go and tell them to revise and reuse that same helmet sculpt on the ROTJ version! PLEASE!!

Unless of course they've already scaled down the 1/4 version:)

Your custom Vader is the best Vader I've seen.

Would you say that this is the best and most screen accurate Vader helmet so far?

This new version is reusing the old ANH/R1 helmet (nose plug still included), which is way better than TESB version.
So if you don't have a Vader in your collection yet, this looks the best option...So far.

I'm still living in hope that HT might "cop" themselves on and revise the upcoming ROTJ version.

The mask from the deluxe (DX28) version of this release is the most accurate mask from HT for all their Vaders if you are looking for a OT episode 5 & 6 Vader or from the show. New hope and R1 has some more weathering. The upcoming ROTJ figure will have same helmet as the ESB release, they will not change it to this since they have already tweaked it to be able to do the Shaw face reveal. DX28 is as good as a Vader mask will get from HT until/if we start getting rereleases at some point or so.

Missed opportunity to not scale down the quarter scale mask for the rotj figure later this year.

The mesh pattern in the mouth is different than R1 I think, not as dense. This one is actually better.
