Don't buy V1 Sabine. She will come out with short hair in season 2. Look at Bo example.

I need all the Sabines. And hopefully she'll continue to repaint her armor each season like on Rebels.

It’s certainly easier to pass on new figures for me. I don’t want nine hundred mando variants nor anything of the sequel trilogy.
Looks like going forward I will be less interested in the show as well for the same sequel denying reasons!

I might get a Bo V2 with new hair, extra accessories and double jointed elbows.
Can't see myself getting anymore Mando variants.
Might get a Beskar Stormtrooper.

Hope we get to see the new dark troopers in the finale. Nice black beskar suits, probably with touches of Mandalorian culture. Moff’s new suit is cool as well. They could’ve shown us more of the imperials instead of that lame professor clone.

I'll get the Praetorian guards and Beskar trooper. Probably wait on IG12 to see if it gets some paint for S4... I probably won't though if HT include one of those Babu Frik figures.

I understood that those white beskar troopers are THEM. New Dark Troopers with Gideon's mind somehow cloned into them. I might get that completely wrong for sure.

Yeah. The white one’s were the 2.0’s. I doubt we’d see another version this season. Especially with the Praetorian Mando Guards being the “sub-boss” Troopers.

Personally, I love them. Total McQuarrie Proto Fett homage.

The episode was cool for those who collect Mando troopers. I do not so my current season wishlist looks like this…





Unless Fenn Rau turns up in the last episode then it’s slim pickings for me. With ROTJ and having seen the amazing collection of characters Ahsoka is offering up then I’m kind of relieved about that. I dare say Zeb would have to have a pretty important role in Ahsoka before HT even considered making him.

And as one of the tiny handful of people here who likes TLJ it was pretty damn cool seeing the Praetorians again. Not sure about making the helmets Mando-like though. Always thought it was a lot more unique and mysterious having them be blank.

TLJ has some solid things going for it and the cinematography in the film is probably the best in the franchise, but some of the decisions the film made will always rub me the wrong way.

At the same time, it has the honor of not being TROS, which is the worst film in the franchise (imo).

I do agree with you about TLJ and cinematography though, it is a beautiful looking film, especially the stuff shot on the island. Solo is also very under appreciated for cinematography.

They’re meant to be an evolution of Gar Saxon’s Imperial super commandos, which in turn were inspired by proto Fett

Hot Toys gonna have a field day with this episode, Ironized Grogu AND Moff Gideon?!

Those Troopers are far more interesting IMO than Iron-Mando, Maybe next episode will change my mind.

At least a Gideon 2.0 would get a better sculpt without that silly moustache for a HT level Gus Fring bash.

For this season so far there are some likely candidates for new figures:
Praetorians (likely 1 figure with all 3 weapons)
Phase 2 Super Commandos (standard and officer)
Flashback clones (501st, standard and Coruscant Guard)
Hobo Mandos (the two lead ones)
Bo version 2 (new pauldron, head, shield and saber)
IG12 with updated armoured Grogu
Moff Gideon in Darktrooper armour
B2 Super Battle Droid


Less likely but possible:
Paz version 2 (with shield and overheated gun)
Axe version 2 (with head and new chest/shoulders)

Like Disney actually looked into lore for once. Maybe one could’ve done so when scripting ST or something, maybe it had been well received or something then.
