Thanks for the support guys, we're listening to all the feedback and we will fix the stuff you don't think looks good like we've always done.

The tailoring on the pants will be improved to be less baggy and we're also going to look at what can be improved on the denim vest.

As far as the first game sculpt we're going to see how it changes with proper paint but we'll probably change it with more rough sculpt details, the scowl is already there I think what's different is the eyebrows that aren't as arched as they should.

Aside from those not sure what else is there to fix but we're open to feedback.
Just so you know I will buy any and all 1/6 Red Dead Redemption figures by LIM, and I know others here are on the same page. You guys have the passion and the talent to produce figures of these characters that no other 1/6 company has

You can charge me silly prices for a Charles and Sadie and I'll buy them, I just don't think any other company could do them justice at this point.

Mostly commented on their Facebook page but just wanted to chime in on how amazing this looks and I can't wait to preorder!

Do we know the US retail price by chance?

Your best bet is ordering from Kit at onesixthkit. His shipping is super fast and free and he’s great to work with. The preorders should go up tomorrow

I just caught up with the thread and...yo hold up what the ****?! Please tell me Dutch ain't being canceled!

Criticism is typical in today's society, so I'm hoping LIM and RRX are reading between the lines to see what's valid and what's only initial reveal reactions.
  • For me, I love the more rough look in the first game and would love an alt head if that's somewhere in the mix. The other Arthur head and hat are wonderful additions.
  • I've already purchased VTS fishing rod and detonator props, so I'm a bit sad Lim is in the shadow of VTS for something that's less critical to the figure. I would given up the rod and detonator for a poncho. Or maybe an alternative theme would have been to embrace his homesteader time with a hammer & belt attachment? It's hard to think of a variety of meaningful but not repeated props. Maybe Binoculars?
  • I love the squirrel!
  • The outfits and variety are top knotch for this scale. There's something about the jean jacket in the promos that looks scaled though.
  • The food and drink props are nice ways to expand all sets! I like the way of combining the gunslinger finger as tastetesting :D
  • All the gun choices make sense in common priority. I would've been cool to see a Volcanic pistol.

This is an exciting figure with a lot of possiblities to compliment Arthur, thanks for any future tweaks, improvements. I hope it's successfully enough to merit an add-on pack like Arthur got :)

Also... Rockstar will eventually remake Red Dead, it might not be for several years though. When that happens, they will be a resurgence of interest to get things like Dutch and possibly other characters.

Last thing... why don't I see this on Sideshow? Does Sideshow request a lot of control or profit?

At least please give us a Dutch, even a Dutch from Red Dead Redemption would work too! He always has a plan!

AH! The elephant in the room.... thanks for turning the lights on

How does that work anyways? Is there gray area for "inspired by" work which is how these get made or is it because these products don't get sold through bigger outlets? I'm trying to figure out why Rockstar didn't drop the legal hammer on Arthur.

It's pretty black and white, but Arthur did go into the dark for a while... before emerging victoriously into the light!

They almost did after people shared it on Twitter tagging the voice actor etc. iirc

So don’t do that

Couldn't comment exactly my thoughts as I'm working atm (at lunch now) but as I said before the figure looks great both sculpts look great, as far as clothes are concerned the pants need work, and that's probably only it but I would also hope he came with a few more bare hands as other then just two. I'm going to get this I really hope people don't start to complain when Nate is announced because I've waited to long for Lim to make him and no one is ******* that up for me. Lmao

I just saw realized this was a new thread and I was floored…

That? That is the money shot. That is the shot I’ve been waiting over a decade to see. I don’t know what changes. I’m sure knowing Lim anything you guys decide to do will be for the better, but I’ve gotta say, @R_R_X , don’t feel discouraged for a second because my jaw was on the ground when I saw this thing. I like Red Dead 2 John a lot, but that first iteration set the bar and is still one of my favorite games of all time. It’s that image that’s cemented in my mind whenever I think of John Marston, not his youthful visage…and you nailed it. Everything about this package is immensely impressive and in all honesty? It made me giddy seeing all the details and accessories. I personally can’t wait to have him on my shelf, as is or however the final comes out. Congrats on another stellar release.

Be gone, Rockstar sleeper agent

Damn, I’m going to have to buy two of these figures as I love both looks. (Cowboy) hats off to LIMTOYS, another awesome piece. I’ll get a horse for the RDR2 look, and his RDR look will use that very cool base.

Sharing this set piece I just spotted. It'll fit snug into a Detolf if that's your case. It's nice in that the two pieces can be purchased or positioned separately.

It could compliment your Gunslinger or Cowboy figures nicely. Past ones Asmus' The Door of Haberdashery and the older 2012 Triad Boone Town Saloon.

I love both looks equally but for different reasons. The RDR1 look is more iconic for sure. But if your going to pair him with Arthur then the RDR2 look works better. It was a good decision to do both and not stick to 1 look because now it is more incentivizing to a larger group of people and will encourage some to pick 2 figures instead of 1

Well since everyone seems to be complaining, I'll add my two cents too.
These better come with real food, or I'm going to be very disappointed!

I love those 2 accessories I dont know why. I like the kind of relaxed everyday look you get from accessories like this and the journal with the pencil. I think it captures an important part of the game.
