I actually think I like the stock cape and don't need to get a custom cape. Though I might still do it to get his "Battle Cape" as the stock is more the longer "drape" one.

^Same here. I'm surprised the stock cape is pretty good. I like how it sits on the shoulders and drapes on the ground.

Anybody can measure the height of DX11 Joker? If InArt according to specs is 12 inches and the DX11 measure the same then DX19 wouldn't pair well with InArt.

Those videos on the Hot Toys Facebook page are pretty cringe. The American voice reading the broken English is silly. I assume that's an AI voice reading, otherwise someone should've corrected the grammar. Couldn't Sideshow have just proofread their script first?
It's probably just an inexpensive amateur reading through Fiverr or whatever. They would just read the script provided and move on.

Yeah I'm not totally sold on the new figure's proportions either. I just measured my Armory version and compared him with various other figures, and he's already up there with my Indys, Neo, and other characters a little over 6 feet tall. It's only when you measure him against the gigantic Batfleck or certain Marvel figures like Cap that he seems on the small side. But those figures have always been a bit oversized anyway.

Very true. And I tend not to mix and match figures from different universes on the same shelf, so it’s never bothered me that DX12/Armory would look small next to Batfleck or Cap as you said. He’s the only TDK figure I have so I have him displayed with the ‘66 and BR Keaton Bats (both also one offs for me) to sort of represent various iterations of Batman, and he’s always looked fine next to them. DX19 would probably dwarf them by the looks of it.

Having the armory version, I wasn't tempted by this, but after Justins review I'm contemplating picking the cowl up for the armory one. Not sure if it's worth the upgrade. As far as sizing up, how the armory version stands next to the inart joker will be the test for me.

For those wondering if the chest plate is too big I say no. I think the DX12 chest was way to flat especially closer to the collar. In rises Bale was about 15lbs heavier than TDK too so I think it’s a little more accurate to that film.

I disagree. When I look at screen grabs of Bale as the dark knight the chest doesn't stand out- your eye isn't drawn to it. It's in proportion to everything else.. When I look at pics of DX19 the chest is screaming/buldging out/ pecs are too too bubbly. DX12 much more in line with the movies.

I agree with you. It looks like HT bulked him up too much. A less broad and flatter chest along with shoulder armor that doesn’t stick out would have helped a lot. I do like how the straps on the torso of the dx19 have been brought up a bit. IMO, he should have more of an athletic build.

Agree with this. You gotta be blind not to see the chest plate is much more pronounced in Rises than in TDK.....

That last photo is already quite telling...

Again, you gotta be blind not to see that... lmao

Yep very cringe. Totally based on the 80's movie trailer voice.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but this figure was originally supposed to be from The Dark Knight Rises, and then hot toys changed it to The Dark Knight Trilogy, which is misrepresenting this figure, because this suit was only featured in The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises, because if it was featured in all 3 Nolan films, hot toys could then justify it being from the entire Dark Knight trilogy.......:)

What is your issue with the new one?
- I don't think they've nailed the shape of the cowl
- The lower body looks really strange to me. Padding around the crouch, thighs specifically.
- Really dislike that they keep scaling these figures up
- I feel like the overall look of this suit in the movie is slim, but the figure doesn't quite get that slim look overall. It's not as sleek as what im seeing in the movie for some reason
