Re: Blitzway 1/6 Scale Hannibal Lecter

I'm almost wondering, are they pushing the boundaries of poseable bodies, could this be a single figure with a single set of arms capable of all these poses, and perhaps there's just accessory packages you can choose when you purchase, like dolly and mask package or chair and artwork package.

It would also explain why no blood paint apps, if there's a single figure with multiple options, they don't want to limit collectors.

It's very intriguing and one thing's for sure, it's an incredible looking piece. I'm hoping it's not a super deluxe, all these pieces in one box set or we're easily talking $500+.

Re: Blitzway 1/6 Scale Hannibal Lecter

It should be so :)Fingers crossed.
But those who have Fight Club figs-are real in hand sculpts really different from prototypes?

I'm thinking there will be one, or possibly two releases (if anything distinguishes separate releases, it would be the dolly and masks), and that it will be one figure with multiple heads, arms, etc. Clearly the head can turn, and it looks like it can tilt downward. And there is an ab crunch so he can sit down.

Re: Blitzway 1/6 Scale Hannibal Lecter

It's kind of like when the 2nd Medicom Vader came with a set of gloves that were permanently crossed. But here it looks like they're going for more fully posed arms that can be plugged in for specific poses. It's a pretty cool idea... the only downside is it certainly limits how much you can do with the figure, but would definitely give you a clean looking figure.

I'm on the fence on if I'll get this or not... like a lot of people I think I'd just have him on the dolly at all times :lol

Horror section?In interest threads?

It's a horror movie as much as anything else! But sure, it's also a procedural film, and a suspense thriller. The Shining, Psycho, and lots of other great horror movies also cross boundaries. One of the two threads was here, and its better to have something more specific than "general" when possible.

I'll buy the gurney version.

It most definitely has interchangeable parts. The baton pose has a different head sculpt in the promo pics than the SDCC display.

Re: Blitzway 1/6 Scale Hannibal Lecter

Is Crawford from Blitzway?

I guess if that dark, truly unsettling and deeply disturbing movie Beetlejuice can have its figure in the horror section (not including the horror of how disappointing the figure is of course) then Silence of the Lambs can be in the Horror section too...?

Re: Blitzway 1/6 Scale Hannibal Lecter

So that's why this action figure ;) thread is here-in horror section.
