So are we to assume it won't be possible to leave her in this position for long without risking damage?

Possibly but looking at that FB vid..the body is made to fluently articulate in dynamic poses like this..you just can't keep it that way for long time periods but imo the relief comes from that the joints move so naturally without any awkwardness.in my experience with handling phicen seamless is the durability when posing, not only is silicon skin powdery to the touch, it is also gives a vibe that extreme posing will break the metal skeleton underneath and the outer skin will tear quicker.

This body seems like all the joints move more fluently

:) Sounds very promising. Can't wait for the English review videos to land later in the week.

With as shiny as it is doesn't it already look like it's leaking?

After looking at the pics and the video this, to me, looks more like a rubber sleeve over a plastic body than a true seemless body. The fact that there is a plastic opening at the mid-torso area means it isn't seemless. For me, and if this looks great to you then I am jealous that you are satisfied, I am gonna kitbash the boots off this pretty lady. That includes a body replacement. Now the muscular Phicens like Red Sonja and the Sparta figures are rather large in the chest and that won't do so I am hoping a mid-size bust will suffice.

go for it my mate ,and i look forward to seeing your results and will be happy to copy them if i like your version better:duff

So what are everyone's thoughts on the figure so far? Are we going nuts over pics on FB yet? Lol.

:exactly:

One nitch that annoys me about phicen seamless or any brand of seamless I've handled including Hot Stuff, Dollfie, Volks, etc is the arms are made with the thinnest amount of silicon and at the same time the heaviest part of the metal underneath. So when you flex the arms it feels so weird to the touch because the covering is so thin it can cause the sharp ends of the metal to poke the silicon casing . Basically , you just need to take extra care when flexing the arms. With this the extra rubber casing will come in handy in balancing the metal underneath, he was practically man handling the joints in the worst possible way in flexing a seamless arm but it looked like the motion could handle the pressure at the same time keeping the joints composed :lecture

I think it's a figure that I personally will love in hand..keyword in hand..this will probably look and feel like a better figure, maybe one of the best designs for a HT female figure thus far.

Honestly the expression on her face probably won't bother me in hand, and I will probably be more relieved that this will look like Gal as WW ( Again I'm not looking for a miniature Gal figure) more than I think and better than any company has done a Gadot WW version thus far.

In other words, I won't look at this like a problem with the Widows before the CW head sculpt. Even with the teeth :lecture

oh okay then if you say so

i guess its all subjective ,

and im lucky im one of those whos going to be satisfied with what were gong to get ,as it too late to change anything now

thank god for my 60 year old eyes i guess they make me easier to please :wink1:

I'm really trying to force myself to see the major flaw with the mouth/teeth many are seeing, but I just don't see the big deal. The only picture I've seen out of the many that have been posted where it looked a little odd to me was the "caption this" photo with HQ a few pages back. One bad photo out of a myriad of (what I thought have been) good ones. I personally would have been fine with the proto sculpt and I think the final one is much better, so I couldn't be more satisfied myself with how this turned out.

So are we to assume it won't be possible to leave her in this position for long without risking damage?

Hah. Are you thinking the same thing? I bought a few Phicen bodies in anticipation of this figure like 8 months ago and it looks like it will payoff. I really hope I won't have to cut up the chest. The Painkiller Jane seems to be athletic with a smaller bust; it might be a candidate or even the Vampirella. Unfortunately the skin tone will be way off.

no honestly im happy with how she looks stock from what ive seen so far ,mine left hk this morning ems so ill know better wednesday barring any hold ups ,but i love to see creative alterations on these guys and love the fact that folks aren't afraid to give it a shot at fixing their figures up and posting the results ,
so i say to you go be a trailblazer :yess:

To be able to put her in permanent dynamic poses without fear of doing damage to the stock body, I think.

I might try it..I have some seamless options in my collection I can easily use to swap the body, but as I stated, I think I'll be good with this body.

The phicen seamless will probably not crack but I also suggest don't leave it extreme posed because the phicen will crease :lecture

That's why I am going to keep her in a museum pose, but I wish they would have gave us a all plastic female body, the knee joints would have been covered, only joints would have been shoulder and elbows exposed. I'm fine with how ledokers body was why not wonder woman

Why is every one talking about changing the body for, what is wrong with the one she has

I personally do not like the shiny look plus I am on a bit of a Phicen kick lately. Once I get Harley I am probably gonna do the same. I do not mind not having the tattoos. I do not think the Wonder Woman body looks all the good posed, like the shoulders and arms look weird to me plus with what there is out there I believe it would be an upgrade. I'm gonna play dress up with my dollies.

Buy a extra wonder woman body as backup from toy anxiety

That's another fear. It's pretty easy to get Phicen bodies simply by the shear number they've made for them and for other companies like Very Cool and YTS. They are always parted out plus they sell them individually with extra parts like multiple hands and feet.

I'm generally a museum poser as well, to light dynamic poses. The figures in my collection that have the most dynamic poses is probably my CW final fight scene display with Cap, Bucky and Mk 46 and even then, none are in a pose that really stretches them to their limits. I mentioned it a page or two back, that I too wish they did plastic legs on this. The knee joints are covered by the boots and so you wouldn't see them and with the plastic legs, you'd at least be able to crouch her.

Although me personally, I'm good with a simple pose like this:

So the stock seamless body is just fine for me.
