And to be fair, the HT RO codpiece is accurate to the movie.

The new SS ROTJ vader cod piece looks like a decent replacement to the RO cod piece. Has a little bit of thickness to it and the size looks about right, but doesn't look ridiculous.

I also have the SS ANH cod piece forsale. I also have forsale the non light up belt that came with that figure as well. I had to lengthen it by sewing (mom's a seamstress) a piece of leather to it to fit my Hot Toys Vader. Drop me a pm if anyone is interested in it.

Has anyone tried taking one of the layers out of the cape? It's really hard to work with because it's so thick. I'm thinking of de lining the tunic and cape altogether

Is the robe a significant improvement over the ANH robe?

In hand I thought it was incredible - it hangs really well and is a solid black.

A few people have said it was a big improvement over the HT ANH cape (which I've never had in-hand.) I do remember people hated the ANH inner robe (wires,) not sure if people had as big of an issue with the HT ANH cape, but matrix69 - a bit of a Vaderphile - I think replaced his HT ANH capes with the custom iforigno capes.

The RO Vader cape seems to be a similar fabric to the iforigno ones, but a deeper black (the iforigno ones are more a dark charcoal than black.) The HT RO cape weighs a lot because it seems to be a blend with that lycra-type material.
