Yesterday at my local collectable place I found a Raiders of the lost ark poster signed by 8 people who either worked or star in raiders. It's my favorite movie of all times. It's a framed poster signed by Harrison ford. George Lucas. Steven Spielberg. Karen Allen. Alfred Molina. John rys Davis. Paul freeman. And John Williams!

Very cool! Do you know that the autographs are authentic? That would be my only concern with a piece like this as I hate forgies.

hmm i would seriously doubt those signatures.
what kind of price are we talking?
Fords signature doesnt look like that and lucas's L's dont loop over like that.
they all look very similar in writing style.
Youll probably want to look into it more unless your comic shop has some concrete proof these are authentic.
If they are, then very nice.

It has a COA that the company the collectible place got it from. It's not one of those studio nice ones but the company had it hand signed by them. The companies COA guarantees it's real and hand signed or if proven fake for some strange reason they will refund me money. But the company swears it's real and they got it signed themselves.

I paid $600 for it. They originally wanted $1000 but I became friends with them over time and have me discount.

The unfortunate truth is COAs are worth less than the paper they are printed on. I wouldn't go on the COA alone because all those signatures you see for sale on eBay come with a COA and about 90% of those are 100% fake.

There are some serious auto collectors over there and they're pretty good and distinguishing.

If you really want to go the extra mile submit it to PSA.

It looks suspiciously like autopen to me. Hope I'm wrong though.

And yeah, a COA doesn't guarantee anything, it's just a piece of printed paper signed by a random dude who may or may not be the same as the one who is trying to make the sale in the first place, but who is saying it's real (likely for their own financial benefit). At the end of the day, a COA is only as good (or bad) and as trustworthy (or not) as the dealer themselves.

I want to believe for him as well. However, from what little I can discern from Ford and Lucas - it doesn't bode well. The fact that many of the names have strikingly similar loops is a bad sign as well. Time will tell.

Ive never seen any ford signatures with the 'loop' in the middle of the H as in your poster, he comes up and through from the 2nd line in the H, not back up and through the middle, if you can get my meaning.

This will be sad if its not real. :-/ I don't make very much money and It took me a while to save up for this. Paid $600. The place I got it from said they knew the people who got the signatures so I hope it's real.

Bad news for you Indyfan.

See if you can get your money back ASAP! Not a single one of those signatures is real. The Ford, Allen, Williams, Davies and Freeman are dead wrong.

It's has great shock and awe factor but that's it. Not dissing your collectible store either -but I bet they don't know a damn thing about it.

Look at the loops, they are identical. In two of the signatures you can practically overlap the loops.

1000's of forged "authentic signed" Movie memorabilia like this on Ebay with certificates too.

Get your money back if you can. Buy the Topps autograph cards on Ebay for each of the Raiders actors and for the Harrison auto get one of the official pix autos he does and frame them with a poster.
