I think the next Predator we'll see is the summer exclusive, which is usually a Lost Hunter from P2. Keeping my fingers crossed for a Scar reveal, too (or a non-Lostie for once). Maybe third or fourth quarter if we're lucky.

True. And the summer exclusive will likely be here before the end of the year like P2. We're definitely still getting Predator action this year (especially those who ordered Samurai).

I haven't ordered it, but want it and I'm considering the possibility... I'm hoping to see final product photos soon. It's due for release next month or June if I'm not mistaken.

EDIT: BTW, it's the only new predator that doesn't look like Classic + Shadow... I'm joking, but it's true...

I'm probably most excited about the AvP trio since it's been so long since HT made them. That, and I don't really care for the accuracy of Scar's face.

Scar's? I just didn't think there was anything special about his face design, so it won't really bother me when Hot Toy's makes him...now the bio, that could be an issue though.

Yes, I was referring to Scar. Ok, I see why.

I guess it may be soon that we'll see photos since the protype photo was shown around the same time we saw P2's prototype, if I'm not mistaken.

even at that angle you can see how the first version is a little more faithful in terms of shape and even paint scheme -- though the newer version has a better overall proportion interms of the body and armour I think...

You can see the resemblance of the new ht p2 to the previous classic and shadow in terms of the mouth -- but the earlier p2 does have it down pat...

The size and shape of the fangs alone -- the paint scheme on the forehead and the use of black around the brown areas...

That said - I still like the p2 that's coming out, b/c it's still good enough for me...plus I like the newer proportions overall...maybe get a p2 bd head and have an alternate to switch out =)

i think scar is coming out in 1/4 scale first, i may be wrong, i hope they do these in 1/6 and 1/4. not some in only 1/4.

I really hope they do in 1/6 since I don't want any 1/4 because they're just too big and will be too expensive as well.

I really hope they do a 1/6 Wolf. I really hated the first release Wolf and I was dumb enough to get the Cleaner Wolf as well. Horrible body sculpt, way too thin everywhere and he looked like he was wearing clown shoes.

i feel the same way, i don't have the room or the extra money for 1/4's ,
but will try to get elder predator 2 in 1/4 or predator 1 and that's it.

Both HT sculpts could use some very minor adjustments, but I still don't think that set of photo does anything to really prove that point.

But that isn't the only picture where you can see the inaccuracies.

To be honest that wouldn't achieve anything. Thats just a pic of the real movie P2 head photoshopped onto the HT body. Its not exactly as simple as that from their POV. The comparison pics with the annotations say more than that pic.

It still does more good there than here. Unless Hot Toys frequents these boards.
