I removed the neck adapter and have the head resting on top. I think this totally solves the giraffe neck syndrome. If Hot Toys could just give us a slightly shorter neck peg to fit inside the neck, it would be perfect. The rubber neck provides plenty of friction, so you can tilt the body side to side and the head still stays in place. The head won't fall off unless the entire figure fell over. What do you guys think?

Can't believe I didn't think of that. I did the same thing with the HT Dutch figure. Awesome.

Did the neck mod as well. Looks awesome, will post pics later. A little FYI, if you're doing the neck mod, a little blu tack will secure the head, as if the adapter was never removed.

what ive done with the perseus head on a comedian body is remove the 'washer' from an old neck joint(each neck joint has 20 just attach this 'washer' to the ball joint in the HS and pop it into th neck of the body, now its fully poseable and you can tip it upside down, the head wont fall off!. just thought id offer up a suggestion.

Great pics too guys, still waiting on mine... :(

Hey Lipsmack, can you post some pics to help show what you are describing? I have thought about removing the ball socket from the head and replacing it with a ring from inside another head, if it will fit. That way, the ball neck peg could slide higher up inside so the head can sit lower on the neck.

Got his costume changed. I have to say, he has one of the more intricate and detailed costumes I have seen in 1/6, with top of the class tailoring.

Yes, I'd like pics and more of a detailed description of what's been done as well please

yeah i was gunna try this first but the perseus head already fit right, the problem was the adapter inside these wolverine bodies. but i think PoP could have this mod done successfully, ill have to wait still...lol

Ill try and get some pics on saturday, just started a new job and by god do the hours suck!

So is the neck on yours just the rubber sleeve now? No 'adapter' inside?

If you're not using the adapter nor the barbell peg, then maybe you could sand down the sides of the adapter to thin it and then cut some off to shorten it.

Just got the figure. It's actually a pretty good figure. Highly recommended if you are somewhat interested in the character.

That's my problem with it, though - if I was looking for just a generalised ancient warrior type figure, I'd be all over this thing, but what I'm interested in is the slightly off-beat character portrayed on screen, and the figure has none of that IMHO. It's a nice figure in its own right, it just has nothing of the feel of the character.

i on the other hand have yet to even see the movie, but I love WW and this is far enough away from jake likeness that i can have My video game version. P.S. just got mine in, ill take some pics tommorow hopefully of my neck mod, and i also switched out the boots to the goemon ones (yeah yeah wait and see) and i am quite pleased with it. on another note i decided that my next project will be making a giant Dahaka! and possibly my version of the dark prince, but nothing right away.

:lol I guess it all depends on your perspective! I was the same as you with the HT Wolverine figure - didn't even bother to watch the movie, but since the figure looked not like Hugh Jackman but exactly like I always imagined a realistic Wolverine would look, I was all over it!
