possibly waiting for ahsoka show

I've seen that suggested multiple times but it'd be odd if that were the case.

Anakin doesn't really need media tie-in to be on the market. And he's arguably more popular a character than the other artisan picks who had both versions despite being sourced from legacy media.

Just a very strange move by Hot Toys. Maybe they're too busy making an army of Anakins for Howard's private collection since that's his favorite character. :lol

It's one hundred percent cause they don't wanna shoot themselves in the foot - a rerelease of a sculpted ROTS Ani now would mean less sales of the AOTC Ani

Doubt it. They’ve got 2 other Scarlet Witch figures up already. They had other Wonder Woman figures available.

Hmm that is true.
Damn HT are weird. Give us Ani damnit

Howard watching collectors fight over both the actual figure and why there isn’t a sculpted hair version:

Is anyone here excited for Artisan Wanda? I hope they do an Artisan Shin Hati that would be cool.

Don’t give them any ideas. :lol

We should really be hoping for the best version of figures without having them locked behind an arbitrary marketing ploy like the artisan figures. More expensive and significantly harder to get is bad for all of us.

Feels like excitement for Scarlet Witch is a bit tempered by that. It’s not as easy to be excited for something you’re going to have to fight other people to get and may not even be able to acquire.

1. No, but its great that theyre making one I have no interest in.

2. There wont be artisan shin hati. We will be lucky to get a regular one.

Artisan Leia, tho.... That might happen. Artisan Padme would be interesting.

That would be awesome. Let’s see who gets there first HT or Inart

Well, HT has the Disney license so I don't think InArt will ever get the chance (which is sad -- they'd make a great "Jack Sparra")

That said, HT's DX15 (or is it 16?) is a masterful figure and one of HT's best... not sure their Artisan has much to improve upon. I'd love to see Barbossa.

Why Leia and Padme? Their hair styles don’t lend themselves to the Artisan look… except Tree House Leia

If they do one from the first three movies it will have a different vibe than DX15

Highly intricate updos dont lend themselves to Artisan...? Ok

There are not a great many SW women to pick from. Those are two of the most prominent. Who else would you suggest?
Here are my thoughts on this technique HT and Inart are using. They have a certain “look” to them being wool.

The hair styles they chose allow the wool be loose and not under tension at the root, makes sense for the material. If it’s an updo style, hair near the scalp has to be pulled back putting it under stress or it will sag and lose the shape. We’ve seen gel being used to keep the shape at the root but will look clumpy.

What’s interesting is Inart will do Legolas, his hair is pulled back at the top. Will they make it all wool or let it be sculpted at the top and only use wool for the free flowing parts? That’s what I want to know as it will open up doors for more possibilities with similar hair styles like Qui Gon and Last Jedi Rey. The hairstyle has to lend itself to the medium for their techniques to work.
