Yeah let me spend $400 on an item and then immediately alter it’s main component….NOT!
I see this all the time, especially with suited characters. "I just picked up _____! It's a nice set but I'm already going to swap the suit with (insert expensive 1/6 tailor name) version and sculpt from (expensive 1/6 sculptor) and have (expensive custom painter) paint it up. But I really like what HT did here" :lol

Someone on FB was complaining about the beskar spear not matching the armor exactly. Well duh, he didn't get them from the same place.

Really glad I delayed gratification for this version.
Same. I can't see myself buying another one. Maybe parts from future releases, but not a whole other figure.

Wow.

I think once this is parted the parts are gonna get pricey 😬 I can imagine the armor pieces are gonna be a pretty penny for those who just want them to upgrade the TMS015 😱

For sure! With how cheap the previous Mando+Grogu set has been going for, the thought did cross my mind to do that exact thing. But it would’ve been too difficult and more expensive than it’s worth to try to pick up the new armor, dark saber and Beskar spear

Yeah haha, as stated before, some parts go for far too much, may as well just buy the whole figure :lol I reckon TA prices their part-outs fairly, but the more popular items seem to sell out in mere milliseconds! :horror

I had heard they tweaked it on the newer Mando? It sort of looks the same and in other shots not so much, I figured it's the paint job messing with me.

Classic Hot Toys. I'm not sure they've ever got a helmet right. Maybe the Death Trooper bucket.
I think the most egregious one is the ESB Fett bucket, which they keep reusing and it makes me sick.

He looks badass!

I don’t care about the extra weathering/no weathering debate, figure looks awesome, comes with awesome accessories, lots of unique poses.

ARGHHH I was so tempted to buy multiples for multiple posing options (deluxe version carrying everything pose, unmasked look holding Grogu pose, darksaber pose) and the damn thing turned out so good now I wanna do it!

I already have the first chrome armored look and the Season 1 look with the Blurrg, how many Mandos are too many?

I've said it before and I'll keep saying, no shame in having multiples of a figure/character :monkey3 :lol

Only other insane thing they can do is a version of Mando like they did Arena Fett. Black armor Mando with white painted signet on his armor or helmet. Or as someone else mentioned a coronation armor that is made to make him the lord mandalor. But I always liked the way Mando has been portrayed as Lone wolf and cub or the man with no name. Better he helps bring Mandalor back together and reunite everyone only to walk away and ride off into the sunset as a legend like those other badasses.

I wouldn't mind that kind of ending for his character.

I have a feeling we're in for more of the "reluctant King who steps up" kinda storyline though. Similar to how Aragorn was portrayed in the LOTR films.

Yeah true, but the difference with Aragorn is he was meant to be king as the only living heir to the throne of Gondor, he realized that, and stepped up when middle earth needed a king to lead them in their final fight. Mando has no birthright or claim to the throne anymore then Bo-Katan does or Boba. That's what makes him an awesome character he can be the one to bring his people together, and restore their home while also breaking old traditions and create new ones. Like he said in S1 in the final episode when Moff revealed his full name, "Mandalorians aren't a people it's a creed". I imagine he'll leave and continue to go on adventures with Grogu until we get to the horrible films we've gotten recently.
