He looks too tall WTF is up with that. At their price point Hot Toys should be thinking about these things.

A little on the tall side. Might be able to reduce height with shorter ankle pegs. The arms bunch up funny when the elbow is bent, very Threezero Rambo-like. This one will be standing in a museum pose for me.

Sadly, despite my nostalgic need for this 1995 "gem", without Riddler and Two-Face I just have no need for this shiny Bats and his red-breasted ward.

Fortunately, I feel 3rd party versions of the nasty twosome coming very soon... very soon indeed...

I'm pretty sure it's recycled from the tactical batsuit batlfeck figure from TJL. I could be wrong though. The material looks similar.

Damn, mine will be here from HK on Tuesday apparently so if I had POed this through sideshow day one I might be getting it the same time or a day sooner. Makes me wonder about upcoming releases.

I really can't find any ref on the sonar suit's cape texture to know if HT got it wrong.

Anyway, eager to see you guys get yours and start posting some in-hand pictures. For some reason I don't think HT is making many of these.

they got it wrong. apparently from a post I saw on IG, someone mentioned the cape is very similar, if not the same as JL Batfleck cape

I do see some texture in that first picture on the outside, not as much as the HT of course. I wonder what their source was?

They definitely got the cape wrong. Even if we ignore the wrong texture it lacks the same iridescent look as the suit. It sticks out like a sore thumb against the iridescent suit.
