Great finale and that dragon sequence at the end was incredibly well done.

Although I still find this new Aemond distracting as hell. I mean did they have to make him look SO much like a cartoon villain? Lol

Really? That's what's so great about him. He's like this Capt Hook style villain; Basil Rathbone come to life. His permanent smirk, his cheek bones, extended chin, even his posture is just so perfect it does look like he's almost drawn that way.

I feel that the trend lately, especially since Thanos, is to write "complex" villains. Ones that are defined as the bad guy, but one you might relate to. Many of them don't even look villainous to help achieve this effect. I think Aemond's look is definitely a breath of fresh air. Really sold on it personally.

And as creepy as he was, the actor who played Larys did a great job. What a weirdo.
Really? I thought he was the "relatable" character we were all supposed to imagine as ourselves. An audience surrogate. Luke Skywalker, Michael Bluth, Ripley, Larys. I can't think of anything he did that I wouldn't do in his situation, but YMMV.

I totally agree. I can’t stand looking at him, the cartoony face is too creepy!

Aemond did nothing wrong. That little bastard was looking for trouble. You aim for the crown, you better not drown.

InArt, bring me the dolly of my new favourite now!

1/6th dragons? Where would anyone even put them? They'd have to be the centrepiece of the collection. I'd be fine with Medieval Sephiroth myself.

He looks like a cosplay background Elf in a deleted scene four rows behind Legolas.

He just doesn't come off as menacing. He looks like he has a 95 pound bench press.

I think the show is great, I just don't see anything all that interesting from Aemond.

I think the same goofy-ness you see is the same charm that everyone else sees.

If he had a big waxed mustache he'd be twirling it while giving everyone his one crazy eye look. He's over the top bad guy. It's great.
