Looks good but I think there's something off with the eyes. I don't remember him squinting like that. I've got the Facepool one and I think its a bit closer in capturing the actor.

Neither one is great. Based on the images FP's is slightly better. From the nose down DID's looks pretty good. Nose up not so much.

DiD really struggles with some of these guys. FacePool did it better.

Yeah, I think Facepool won on this one headsculpt wise but, I'm still getting the DiD version because I know the equipment and everything else will be 10x better than FP, I'll have to see a picture with the helmet on to trulely determine whos sculpt is better though.

This would be my first military figure and I really would love to weather this, but dont want to make the figure unsaleable in the future if times get hard if you know what I mean.

As I mentioned in the Upham thread, my Facepool Ranger set shipped already and I'm looking forward to setting Mellish up and adding him to the squad.

He's announced looks great overall love his personalized dog tag like in the movie, great to have the M1 garand again as theirs is the best on the market. Full pictures on BBICN.

Earlier this week, I ordered DiD's "Mellish" figure for my "Saving Private Ryan" collection.

Even though I had the Facepool Mellish head sculpt that came with the deluxe Upham figure and the Ranger uniform set, I really liked the DiD offering and once I can compare both in hand, I'll keep the one I prefer.
