I want the Jedha look because not only does it look awesome and very star wars, but its the only real set up you can complete. Since we'll seemingly never get Bodhi or Baze

Plus, it'd be easy enough to swap the pants out and get his regular look if you wanted that seeing as how he's wearing the brown jacket under it.

I’m sim
We are fooling ourselves if we think we are getting much from season one. It’s a snooze fest. Maybe cassian and some troopers, but the show has zero buzz. Even friends who are Star Wars fans aren’t watching. The bad Blood from boba and kenobi turned off more people than they think. Also, while I like the character, cassian isn’t beloved like boba and kenobi. Casuals will give up early because not much happens so far. I’m giving it a chance, but not many visual options that will be exciting for hot toys. I just want cassian from rogue one.
We obviously travel in different circles, because every Star Wars fan I know personally loves the show. And it’s got a ton of positive buzz online.
I agree that Boba and Kenobi turned some folks off, but aside from some folks saying Andor is boring, I see vastly more positive tales than otherwise.

I’m surprised we haven’t seen a Cassian figure from the show yet. I have to imagine it’s going to happen though, I would even expect it’s part of Hot Toys’ agreement with Disney/Lucasfilm to produce figures from new shows.

It was, at one point. Nothing but respect for Lucas but the universe lost a bit of that hard edge as the years went on.

The show brings us back to some of the original space western aspects of the OT, alongside many other genres it’s been navigating very well.

Glad to hear! Sounds like Andor is another good depiction of the SW universe, I'll have to put it on my to-watch list.

Haha no, not yet. I typically am in no rush to see movies/shows right away, and usually will watch them well after if they pique my interest.
Will probably work in your favour. The first few episodes, though good, are a "slow burn" and you'll be able to binge them if you wanted.

Yeah, I saw "The Normies" reaction review on YouTube and the one guy instantly said Solo shot first.
I was thinking more in the sense of fun and dialogue.....should have elaborated. Lucas of course stated that his series was for kids, even though arms, heads were cut off or people were shot. Where Andor is concerned, I am guessing that children may not have as much interest in a series that is so serious.
You'd be surprised about what kids are into. I didn't think my youngest (9) would like it, but he loves this show as much, possibly more than the other shows. For my 12 year old, it's his favorite show so far after Mando, and that's close. Kids like action and adventure, yes, but they are also far more impacted by mood, tone, pacing, and tension than we give them credit.

It’s certainly be put slow. I’m glad I watched the first episodes in two days

but it’s beautiful and well made. Like rogue one

but you’re right that kenobi and book of boba did a lot of damage. My son hasn’t even started andor yet. He’s not the dedicated fool I am.

hot toys seem to love troopers and also hate them so will we get a trooper yet?
cassian is actuall annoying now. I want the rogue one look thou

Ironically enough, I could see a Cassian figure release from "Andor" as the "Krennic" figure release from Rogue One...

Fan requests finally reaching Howard's ears.

The fact that there hasn't even been a tease of any figure from "Andor" does not bode well.

Kids are likely going to enjoy whatever their parents enjoy, at least at a young age. I myself have been forced to continue watching this series because of work and I must say I haven't experienced much of either (good) pacing or tension so far (The only exceptions being the scenes involving Andor's two kills). I also much prefer the show-it-don't-tell-it approach and this show has been 95% talk up until this point, much of which has been fairly repetitive stuff or altogether forgettable imo. Mandalorian is still the only Disney SW win for me and unfortunately I don't see how that's gonna change anytime soon.

I have found this series to be a refreshing mature piece of work so far and look forward to seeing more. I don't expect to see it take a negative turn.

Perhaps "BoBF" and "Obi-wan" lowered the bar so much for me that anything approaching mediocrity or above seems amazing but I've really liked the story telling and particularly the acting, so far. It has been gritty and more personal, as far as the characters go. No light-saber fights or sophomoric humor has been quite refreshing, too.

Yep, perhaps if Andor and Mando had a baby it would be the perfect show ?

I was thinking more in the lines of when I was a kid and what kids were looking at in the 70s and 80s. Plus we didn't have streaming services, so we followed what was mainly popular at school and what we liked from the toy stores/sections.

Plus.....

I'm not saying this is the case for each and every family, but it is true to a an extent. Because of what I stated above, I wasn't influenced by my parents, as I gravitated towards sci-fi on the whole by myself. Star Wars, Buck Rogers, The Black Hole, Battlestar Galactica and others as well.

I feel more like FlyAndFlight where Andor is concerned :

I expected it to be a serious series (seeing Rogue One) and I realized early that this is mainly different from a Lucas or Lucas approved story line. And yes, it has been really refreshing for me after being disappointed with BoBF and Obi-Wan.

This probably should all go in the "Movies & TV Show Discussions" off topic forums section, so I'll state that for the six episodes we got, I wouldn't mind a Hot Toys Tie Fighter Pilot, Andor in Imperial disguise or an Imperial soldier (won't happen). Maybe Mon Mothma or Deedra Meero.

If just going by the trailers and released footage, then yes, Two Tubes and a Death Trooper Specialist please.....besides the others I listed for episodes 1-6.

How cool would it be if they made a Mon Mothma figure, and the base was her senate platform?

They'd probably have to shrink it down some or just cut it in half but that would look epic, especially if it lit up. Really liked her outfit when she meets Luthrin. Obviously a pivotal character for Star Wars
